Then the team that came out in the second half had lost all that intensity. It’s the intensity that's not there in general. Only comes in spells.

Also if you look closer you can detect a forward movement towards the ball. Shearer is just being obtuse.
For me watching Foden, a big part of it is role and load. Early on he was central, trusted, and playing with freedom, arriving late in the box and combining quickly. As the season’s gone on, and injuries to other key players have grown, he’s been moved around more, asked to hold width or do more build up play, and he’s clearly been carrying mental and physical fatigue after a very intense year. His game relies on sharpness and timing, when that drops even slightly, he looks quieter without necessarily playing badly. Breaking his hand in the derby hasn't helped eitherSorry. With Haaland, our chance creation has become slower and more controlled, with fewer early balls, fewer transitions, and more opponents sitting deep specifically to cut off his runs. With no De Bruyne consistently threading passes early, Haaland has become easier to manage, and if he’s even a fraction off physically or confidence-wise, defenders sense it. He’s also been double- and triple-marked far more than early season, and wolves did the same when he came onhaaland hardly touches ball over 90 minutes never mind when weve dug in and he comes on for 20 minutes

David Silva was small but very solid, strong with a low centre of gravity and difficult to knock off the ball.Well it’s a physical sport. David Silva could also be called a lightweight but you never saw him get bullied. Likewise Nasri.

They might have similar physical attributes but they don’t have the tenacity or resilience of David. Same as Kun Aguero who never gave enough up and who battled as hard as anyone.
