How many ?
About a taxi’s worth
How many ?
Good atmosphere last night. Most Gala fans were friendly. Walked back to town with some after. The trains were chaos as usual.Last night was like the Chelsea at home Friday night game, all those years ago, when many thousands of Blues were scared off by MUEN headline saying don’t go to the game.
Credit to the team and the fans who got behind the lads. It was a tremendous win and making the top 8 was no mean feet after the shambles of Bodo. I’m just happy to have been there.
Credit to City for maintaining the safety of fans as far as they we able to. We had loads of empty seats but it at least the ground didn’t get renamed Little Istanbul like happened to the rags. Gala received tremendous vocal support from the South Stand and their fans dotted around d parts of the ground were largely respectful
Our young Blue team can hold our heads up high. For once, the attendance wasn’t all that important compared with the fantastic win and the few young families that attended going home safely.
Hopefully, more of those obsessed with empty seats will attend more home games and call for the overhaul of the industrial scale points whoring system where people join the cup schemes just for the ticket points.
Sympathy for Blues who could t afford the game but I know more Blues who missed the match because of expensive foreign holidays. Good luck to them.
Thy said, City really need to do some amnesty and stop banning fans for misdemeanours and who have been acquitted of more serious charges.
58 isn't old. ;-)That attendance figure is on various other websites such as ESPN and Sky Sports.
Take the tin foil hat off, old boy.

It's good to know the atmosphere was good without me being there.Shout out to all the couldn't be arsed going last night , please feel free not to bother going to any other games atmosphere was miles better without you
Yes. Not like our expert seat counters to get it so wrong. The ground splits up lower tiers about 34,000 and top tiers another 19,000. A few hundred empties in the lower tiers, perhaps up to 1000. Gala filled their top block. Colin Bell and East Stand upper perhaps half full. It doesn’t add up.58 isn't old. ;-)
As others have stated, it didn't look 17,000 under capacity.

I think it will be rocking next week. Could be Pep’s last Wembley final. An early trophy would bring momentum for the run-in. Our fans were great last night. We love a bit of adversity.Lets hope we fill it for next wednesday.
Just got three.
Or the club could allow those tickets to go on the ticket exchange and make it easier to transfer them. This might be a really unpopular opinion, but I think the club should be able to kick people off the cup scheme if their ticket is unused consistently.
Sick to death of people joining the scheme for the points and away/final tickets, but not bothering with home games.
agreed. I also think you should only get the points if you personally attend the game. And if you transfer it to another member they get the points. This might be a really unpopular opinion, but I think the club should be able to kick people off the cup scheme if their ticket is unused consistently.

I agree with this also, but as @mcfc315 says, you shouldn't be getting the points unless you personally attend.Or the club could allow those tickets to go on the ticket exchange and make it easier to transfer them.
The 6,000 geordies will certainly be rocking.I think it will be rocking next week. Could be Pep’s last Wembley final. An early trophy would bring momentum for the run-in. Our fans were great last night. We love a bit of adversity.

I cancelled mine by mistake this season. I actually feel happy about it now, I don’t go to many of the games anyway. Last season for example, I didn’t go to one champions league game despite paying for them all. That is work related, not like I can’t be arsed. But I’ve enjoyed having that extra cash in my back pocket this season. If we get to the final it will be shite trying to get a ticket but so what, I’ve seen us win it already in Istanbul. This might be a really unpopular opinion, but I think the club should be able to kick people off the cup scheme if their ticket is unused consistently.

It’s time for our fans to cut out the self pity (from some of us) and get behind the lads. We have a fighting chance in four trophies. The weather is shit, the club have upset some of us, lots of injuries, the country is crumbling, war is looming. Come on City. The 6,000 geordies will certainly be rocking.
If we get a couple of early goals it could be a decent atmosphere from us.
If they score first it'll get very tense and the geordies will go all loud and giddy
Yes, remember that. Not sure how many seasons it lasted but I always used it. Re-introduction as a league phase bundle, sensibly priced sounds good to me.For the Champions League group phase, the club should re-introduce the bundle. They used to do 3 CL group games for about £60-quid in total and then in addition, have individual ticket prices for individual matches. If they did 4 CL home group games for a total of £80-90 quid, then I think a lot would take that up.
