To be fair, Anfield is a “bogey ground” for a cartload of teams. There was only really that weird season 2020-21 when for a while everybody was beating them at Anfield for fun.

Pep needs to rally the squad and tell them the season starts now. After some patchy form and our usual raft of injuries we are still incredibly in all four competitions and only four points behind the greatest team and squad ever assembled ( According to the media! )
Now is the time to dig in and show our mettle. No sulking, no happy flower players, 100% grit, guts and determination from here to the end of the season. We are in a fantastic position, lets grab it.

I'd play Gonzalez or another midfielder instead of Marmoush. Cherki is excellent around the box, but he isn't a reliable link between midfield and attack yet. Your formation risks isolating the forwards from the rest of the team (a bit like at OT...).

We’ve won our last 3 games at Spurs, we have to go back to 1981 to match that at Anfield, 1956 to beat it.

Not so much away from home though. Pep has tended to bench him in tougher away games as he doesnt do the donkey work. He'd also be more of a threat against tired legs.
