Pep Guardiola - 2025/26

If you take away the really bad run last year - then I would say we are no better. We're the results with the old team during the 2nd half of the season better than now?

I don't think so.

I honestly think he's run his race. I don't forsee any magical changes.
I mean Haaland playing poorly and we need a goal but Marmoush doesn't get on until the 92+ minute.

Im not a football manager but even I can see that's not right.
Also, quoting myself here - how many of that team that started were here at the start of the previous season. 3.

Haaland, Silva and Rodri.
All of which have replacements sat on the bench. He's bought a full new team and it's the same.

Were not half way through a rebuild. We have rebuilt.

We're one year into a full rebuild of the leagues greatest ever team.

It's going to take time.

It's taken Arsenal 5 years, tons of money and repeated failures to get to this point.

Did some of you really think it would take one summer window? Not even Pep can work those kinds of miracles.

His tactics are archaic and we’re a laughing stock. Hope that clears it up.
It's deeper than tactics, you could say that first half wasn't perfect but the tactics weren't shit, it's these second halves where we look physically destroyed from the moment we step back onto the pitch, we get battered and he has absolutely no clue how to stop it, 3 consecutive league games where we've had no shots on target in the second half, it's criminal.

Two years. We're in the 2nd year. 2nd year of the rebuild.

Yeah he hasn’t been given the money to spend on an almost completely new 11. Once he spends another 500 million, things will suddenly get better like it has. Laughable.

Whilst I agree with that, you would expect to see even small progress given the money spent, but we seem to be going backwards.

Just to point out, amongst all the shit that will be posted on here tonight and tomorrow, we drew the match. We didn't lose. You want him gone because of a draw.

We're one year in to a complete rebuild of the squad. It was always going to take more than one year. Some of you have no patience though.
I think it’s time to mutually agree to part at this stage, at the end of this season. He’s the best manager we’ve ever had but I think that’s over now.

It’s not because we’re 2nd in the league and drawing away. It’s the manner in which we’re dropping points to absolute shite and the context around it all.

The football has become stale, he’s constantly playing the same underperforming players contributing nothing - Haaland being prime example. Why he still thought Rico Lewis was an option at right back in 2026 is gross negligence.

The recent performances have been absolutely rank. That Spurs team today would have conceded 4 in the first half against the fucking Rags, but we’re too busy passing it sideways on the half way line to put the game away. And then the inevitable shit show of a second half happens. Fuck knows what he’s doing at half time.

I think he misses our old guard and dare I say even Klopp. Think this is his last season, he doesn’t seem to enjoy it much any longer, winning, drawing or losing

The team doesnt look like it's being coached. He doesnt react the changes made by the other team. The football is dogshit and nothing ever seems to change. Second halves have been bad for a long time but today was disgraceful.

You’re overrating coaching. We’re in a transition, and the way to build cohesion is through consistent game time and relationships on the pitch. That applies regardless of how good training is.

What I would say about the coaching tho, is that I doubt the abilities of Toure and Lijnders. Obviously, Pep takes some responsibility too, but are the assistants good enough?
