hes too good to not play. still cant believe when we bought him he was the best player in germany and came into our squad.. did as well as haaland while he was out... and now cant get in the team. but players like semenyo who actually have the exact same characteristics (yes their build is different) but play the exact same way gets into the team immediately.. Lets be honest.. semenyo is a great goalscorer but so far hes not winger... just like marmoush.

Txiki signed Marmoush as well so not like it was chucked on Pep by Viana?

the issue is our lack of desire to attack with creativity and speed. the first 10/15 minutes of tottenham game we looked incredible. we were passing quickly... tiki taka style which we havent done in years... got two goals.. some on the break... then pep goes over to cherki screams at him for playing attacking football and the entire game changes.. we stop attacking with risk and speed and tottenham comes back.. simple as that. pep needs the players to have a fire up their ass to out hustle and out attack the opponents or we will never win. right now our main strategy is to pass around until we get into a formation that accomplishes only one thing, and that one thing is to let the opponents get back in their box so we have no chance of scoring.

One of those weird situations.
Qualifies for the PL squad, assume therefore he's good for LC (don't see him getting a game mind) and FA Cup
Doesn't qualify for the CL
Edit: bit of a strange recall as he was getting game time at Middlesbrough 20app (not sure how many were subs though)
 
In terms of central midfielders: I like Manu Kone from AS Roma. Strong, top in terms of winning duels, press resistant number 8 with 92% passing accuracy. No brainer.

Let’s be honest, if everyone is fit then we do have a fantastic squad with just a couple of issues with it? A proper right back and a top class midfielder? If we bring in say Kayode or Read and Anderson and Smit then I’d be happy. Foden is struggling again now but there is now way the club are going to sell him so that’s out of the window. Reijnders will be better next season imo as it’s jus been a huge shock the intensity of the premier league and probably manger? Cherki has been ahead of the curve imo already so think of him settled next season?!? Wow! Khusanov has proved that we can easily trust him, Nunes come on leaps and bounds and Donnarumma is a shot stopper from heaven. If we can finish second, get a trophy of sorts and do another round or two in the champions league and replace our usual sick notes in the summer then we will be a massive team for the next few years imo. It’s the manager and his situation that’s the issue and I wonder if that’s why Ljinders and Kolo only got one year contracts?
