Is the league, for want of a better word, ‘bent’?

There’s no reason to tarnish somebody to further a cause. Show me any top class sportsperson who isn’t a bad loser. That’s what gets them to the top, understanding where they’ve gone wrong and working even harder to rectify it.

Rodri’s been an absolute star for us, so glad that he brought this up, even if the club knew there would be a backlash from the media as they close ranks and protect the product that is funding their lifestyle.
It’s not tarnishing him. It’s who he is. It’s a winner being asked questions after not winning.

He doesn’t have a filter and that can be construed as good as we get to hear his genuine feelings rather than the media trained players that will give diplomatic answers.

We City fans want these injustices voiced and he’s done so. What will it achieve?

Who’s going to listen to it?

Sitting there ignoring it and doing sweet fuck all seems to be a pretty weak argument imo.

If there is a swell amongst supporters of complaint about the " unusual/ bizarre decisions" maybe PGMOL might have to be more " honest and transparent "

Or perhaps you don't think there is any bias/corruption and PGMOL are an honest and genuine organisation.

But adopting the 3 wise monkey stance seems to be what you favour ?

It’s probably the more prudent, non-emotional response.

How did you feel when Forest went nuclear against PGMOL? Did you mock them, think it’d get them bad press and achieve nothing or that it was an over emotive response?

Let them. I have a list as long as my arm, a list that includes Champions league, premiership, Fa cup, league cup games.
I agree to disagree with you, but sorry, to me it’s as bent as it comes.
So will they. What they can’t say us their clubs have ever won 4 titles in a row, despite everyone else saying it’s because it’s corrupt.

That’s what they say about our 4 in a row.

Nobody is right.

We have to stop the fucking excuses to try and paper over the cracks that we are playing like shit. Excuses are for losers. No way Fourmidables and Centurions would complain about stuff like this. It doesn't look good. Score more goals and concede less instead.
We've had Pep, Rodri and Bernardo themselves say it out in the media in the recent weeks. So, there is something in it, regardless of the performances.

They had Klopp, VVD and add another dipper player themselves say it out in the media in recent weeks. So, there is something in it, regardless of the performances.

RAWK 2020-2025.

I don’t think it’s actually possible to be so bad at their jobs that they can’t see Solanke kick Guehi though.
If that goal was against us by a "red" team, it would've been ruled out, because they wouldn't have closed the checks so quick.

VAR is bent. I don't think the on field referee is probably bent. VAR can be influenced easily.

I’m genuinely not sure if I’m turning into a scouser but to me if feels like football as a sport is against City at the moment. The Premier League are trying to essentially destroy the club with charges that will do just that. The officials seem incredibly biased against us at the moment. And the worst of the lot is pundits and the media, that are just vicious towards us.

I’m a season ticket holder at City and hate Man Utd with a passion, but even I wouldn’t call their players “losers” if I were to write something in public, yet Oliver Holt has today about Rodri. I wouldn’t warp the truth to try and stain their name if they’d just been proven not guilty in a serious hearing, yet many of our journalists in Britain did about us. I wouldn’t accuse all Man Utd fans of not showing respect to Colin Bell when he died, because a handful of idiot teenagers didn’t, yet that’s what Ian Herbert did about us. I wouldn’t describe an entire fanbase as “rats” for supporting their club against serious allegations, yet Syed did about us.

And where does all this vitriol in the media boil over to? Could that be part of the reason we get decisions against us? The media on our case so heavily that officials are becoming influenced by it? Called “cheats” often enough they are levelling the playing field, even subconsciously?

I know I sound like a scouser but my eyes and ears don’t deceive me I don’t think.
Spot on mate.

Eyes & ears Don’t deceive.

The constant argument that we are deflecting from the fact we are crap this year is small time football banter.

As if anyone needs to tell a city fan how they have played this year? Some good games and some pretty shocking performances. Let’s get it out…we have been poor. Right so now that is out of the way…

Everything else you have written is simple and imo hits close to the truth. The club has been torn apart by charges and innuendos in the media now for years. The refs will be affected and who knows what kind of dirty games the league is playing.

It’s awful and tiresome. We got money and spent it well and grew as a club. Hired the best manager and the rest is history. Oh now we can’t accept that…so it begins and will only end when we are out back in our place.

I hope the club has files going to masters and Webb showing the bullshit decisions. Maybe put it on Arsenal headed paper? -:)

We are all looneys anyway. Var is bent and can be more bent depending on the team.

You can’t realistically say don’t give me that bullshit about every fan thinks there team is badly treated. They all do, and all ships vsaying we are the league and media darlings. That literally all say it.

The truth is, which many seem to struggle with, is nobody is right. Football fans when it comes to their own team have no rationale. We are all bonkers.

Yes I can, and I just did. I will literally say it again now: don't give me that bullshit about every fan thinks their team is badly treated.

By the way, I am not disputing that every fan thinks it, I am saying it's not an argument against our club actually being badly treated, institutionally, over the last decade.

Let's be real here. What interest would the PL have in badly treating, say, Southampton, other than in the, say, six games a year when they play the teams who have been institutionally favoured by the PL? There isn't any.

Now, what interest would the PL have in badly treating City over the same period? You really can't think of any? Not a single commercial reason?

You will be saying "What about the Rodri handball?" next, won't you? Or, "If they were trying to stop City, they didn't do a very good job." Or, "Every manager complains about decisions". Or, "How could they keep such treatment quiet, someone would leak it." Or, my favourite white feather quote, "What good will complaining publicly do?"

All so predictable.

Ive seen this a bit since Rodri's comments, the obvious refrain being that we dont have to go back four matches let alone four years to look for obvious decisions going against us.

It's all bollocks.

I am not saying that other clubs don't get bad decisions. Referees and VAR are human, they can fuck up. What I am saying is that it didn't take the PL and PGMOL long to realise that a few words in their pre-game meetings along the lines of "this is a high-profile game, let's not blow for every little thing and ruin the flow of the game. And no early yellow cards, and no red cards at all, if possible" means that the small, fast, skilfull team is going to get fucked over by the big, strong, dinosaurs.

Whichever way you dress it up, refereeing some games differently to others is bias and unfair competition. They know what they are doing.

And the pressure under which it must put referees - they are asked to perform differently in a few games from the way they instinctively have done throughout their careers. They make decisions in a split second and they know what a foul is, what warrants a yellow card or a red card. But they have to second-guess themselves, in effect. Ask anybody who has performed a "muscle memory" routine for ten years what happens when they are told to change it for ninety minutes.

Is it any wonder it's all such a shit show?

The bent decision of its only a yellow if there is space behind the defender means the team most penalised is the possession, high line team versus low block cloggers.

You add this to the 5 subs rule then there’s no reason to ever get a player sent off for 2 yellows but as a coach you’d absolutely encourage twatting the winger early & keep doing it until you get a yellow.

5 years ago Doku would have had right backs sent off after 25 minutes every game.

The league is bent as fuck.

Their 115 charges failed.

Now it's fully legal to kick the shit out of our players if you want and get rewarded. (Already happened in FA cup final for the treble with Casemiro's foul on Akanji and the phantom penalty)

Anyone wanna sign for City.. yep that's how you're gonna get treated.. fouled and fouled again.. that's their plan now.. (worked on Bellingham & Rice btw)

The EPL has to be destroyed and a new league is needed to replace it..

Never thought I'd say this but I think a new Super League sounds like a fucking great idea!

FUCK YOU RED CARTEL
