Defensively nobody can match him. He's not a ball playing midfielder/ defender but he can certainly swing a ball.
 
I understand people are pissed because we dropped points but he saved us several times. Without this guy we would have lost by a few even though Kodir himself wasn't perfect either.
 
Thought he was good today, made a couple of silly tackles, only one useless lumped pass to the opposition that I remember. He doesn't half work hard.
 
Brilliant as a back foot defender, clearing up the balls behind and always willing to put himself on the line.
Think today showed his lack of experience though, by no means bad and not helped by Nunes having a stinker but there still a lot of improving to do.
Today, the balls to the wall defending is where Dias thrives. Whilst Khusa gets caught out positionally and is shite aerially(only competed for 11 in 10 games and won 3 of them, whilst Guehi has won 9/11 in 2 games)

Khusa first half to allow the highline, Dias second when it all falls apart and we forget how to keep the ball.

I swear this forum makes me look like a madman here when I say we need FIVE midfielders since we have no midfield outside of Rodri/ Nico Gonzales.

Bernardo/ Foden/ Reinders/ Kovacic all need replacing and Rodri is getting old too so we need a replacement.

But any way we slice it.. our midfield is not good enough. Just a few glimpses of brilliance and no consistency.

100% that’s what makes me think we thought Rijnders was as a central midfielder. Some one fucked up, because he obviously isn’t at this level

Nowhere near good enough to be starting for a title challenging side. Dias can't come back soon enough.
 
Solanke literally pushed, or more accurately hit Khusanov with his knuckle. Any credible ref would award a foul, even before he kicked Guehi. I don't think it was Khusanov's fault there

What? Khusa is the main reason we don't lose 10 or more games this season... His pace is irreplaceable and when we have other 3 defenders fast like him, we should play the fuckin highline without fear from counters ...
