Scottish Premiership Thread | 2025/26

Hearts had a bit of a wobble a few weeks back, but they seem to have nipped it in the bud PDQ. Even without Shankland and Devlin, arguably their two best players, they're taking care of business. The interesting time will be if they're in the same position in April; will they be able to handle the inevitable pressure that will come, not having any experience of dealing with such a situation before. Not in a long, long time. Celtic do it every year, and Rangers did it not too long ago.

What one? Explain lol
Colin Cameron scored the penalty. Was it 1996?

I remember the foul but not sure of the players. If I was to have a guess it was Ian Ferguson on Stevie Fulton. It was just the five yards outside the box lol

Ok I might be exaggerating a bit with the 5 yards outside.

But but but we get all the decisions lol

Just googled it. 1998 and penalty was 30 seconds into the game. I remember thinking terrible place to give a way a free kick only for the referee to give the penalty

But as I said I’m not bitter…..nope not bitter at all lol

Hope the Hearts player survives…
Raskin went down like that against Braga this season and I said at the time it’s a complete embarrassment BUT the player has to know not to put his head in like that. You’re asking for trouble and giving officials a decision to make and it always ends one way

Poor Jambos having to cheer on The Hibees tomorrow lol

The last time the Hobos beat Rangers in the League was in 2016.
A championship game as well.
Terrible stuff from the wee team.

I was at that game. We lost a few games to the wee team 3-2 around that time including Cheating Beatons shame game at Ibrox and 2016 Cup Final (sorry about that)

St lie down v Hearts tonight. The start of a run of 4 hard games for Hearts.
Tonight followed by.Wee team at home,Rangers away and Falkirk at home.
Celtic looking like 4 games that are very winnable coming up.

Fuck Celtic …..

A cup tie in Scotland and 1 team knew the other had an ineligable player on their team sheet before kickoff is it morrally acceptable to keep mum and play the game knowing an honest error was going to have the opponents expelled if they won.which they did

The player was ineligible because of a minor clerical error. They brought in an emergency loan but registered the player just as a loan.

Costing Stranraer about £200,000 which is a fortune to a club that size

Is that Steven McLean the referee? Ohh dodgy penalty for Jambos incoming
