Dreadful news today for Stranraer FC who won a hard fought victory over Queens Park to earn money spinning glamour time at Ibrox. Due to a clerical error in registering a player he was ineligible and they’ve been thrown out the competition. Real shame for them

Rangers will now face Queens Park at Ibrox and hopefully put the ghosts of last seasons shocking result to bed … The first and original Glasgow Derby

Finlay Curtis away on loan to Killie for the rest of the season. Hopefully he’s a regular starter there but I’m not sure I agree with this one as I think he could have contributed at Ibrox in the run in

Just seen the Red card. As clear a Red as you’re likely to see. His next touch is a shot on goal with no other defender within 30 yards of him. No other defender can get near him.

Celtics first Red card in 90 domestic games and first since Collum took control 0

Two central defenders on Sky and one an ex Celtic player both say Rec

The question is why the fuck McLean needed VAR to help him get such an obvious decision correct
Messi couldn't have scored that. The ball was moving at pace. I bet Cheatin Beaton woukd have let the red card go if it was you. Although he would probably give you a penalty.

That ball ‘moving at pace’ stopped well within the box and was a clear red card

Noticed you haven’t mentioned the penalty you got midweek.

That was a nasty tackle by Fatah.

It fully deserved the red, IMHO.
I thought it was borderline. The rule of thumb for these challenges is if it’s above the foot / ankle then it’s a Red . Probably just about high enough to warrant the Red. You see so many Reds these days when players are stretching for the ball

Penalty again was borderline but looked on the line so correct decision.

When things are going for you then you get these wee breaks

I thought United started the game well enough but I think it’s a matter of how many now

Weird how that foul looked well outside the box on first viewing.
I seem to remember one like that in a Hearts v Rangers Scottish cup final but you know me. I am not bitter about it or one to hold a grudge hahaha
