The essence of Rodri's complaint is that the protection of the referees has been withdrawn from a team that wins too much for the League's liking.

Now where have we seen that before?

Are there actually people who still believe in a level playing field after watching the highlights of that game?Been going on for years with those cunts,as it has with us now,..just with polar opposite agendas!Unfortunately, there’s nothing anyone can say to change my mind. They get help,we get hamstrung,..every f’kin game!

Really good. I am a little bit sad and upset because our net spend in the past five years we are seventh in the Premier League. I want to be the first so I don't understand why the club has not spent more money. So, I am a little bit grumpy with them. But to be in that position that we were in, in the past was because we spent a lot and now the other six teams have to win the Premier League and the Champions League and FA Cups because they have spent more in the past five years. This is a fact, it is not an opinion. You can say an opinion is if we played good or bad against Tottenham. So we can agree or disagree but that is facts so good luck for the six teams in front of us in the net spend for the last five years. Let's go, I am waiting.

Pep is proper on one watching his press conference ... Hope he hears Darren Bent say ... How can Rodri say anything about anything when City have 115 charges still hanging over them.!!!
I pray we are found innocent and fuck everyone of these twats for bringing the name of Manchester City down.

Henry Winter seems to be trying to launch a one man campaign to get Rodri banned..Essay after essay with that pleb.

Absurdly, we're (presumably) paying him at the same time that he's trying to get one of our players banned:

He's not wrong though. Rodri shouldn't have even inferred publicly that referees are 'bent'. He can be considered by the FA to be guilty of bringing the game into disrepute. A one match ban could be considered appropriate.

If the article is read without blue tinted c glasses, you'll see that Henry Winter largely agrees with Rodri's view on the standard of refereeing etc, and is critical of much the same as most fans of all clubs on how the game has changed for the worse.

Rodri was right but shouldn't have said it. Winter is right and has used his platform to both criticise and defend Rodri in a balanced manner.

Many of our posters seem to see criticism in everything that's said involving City. That's paranoia.

Not seen the Rodri video did he say bent or cheating or did he say that was a foul!?

But BBC correspondent Craig Nelson has just responded in a predictably negative way….. City are the second highest spenders if you exclude the sale of players. Bloody Hell they can’t help shit stirring.

FFS, what is wrong with people on this forum these days?? Did I say I thought he should be banned? No. I said he would likely get a ban. Do I agree with that? No. Is that fair? No. But it's the reality of what will likely happen. That makes the comment ill judged, because it means that we will miss him for a probable key fixture, but his comments will achieve nothing with the FA, POGMOL or the media.
So him venting his spleen achieves nothing in your book? It’s brought the issue to discussion, I’d rather him do that than bend over and get shafted by all and sundry. His comments weren’t ill judged, it was an honest appraisal of how he saw it.

He said they dont want us to win which is clear if the evidence is examined

Did the spurs players come out after the game and complain? Rodri has made himself a target
Why would they complain about none of their players being booked for clear yellow card offences, or not being penalised for booting the back of Guehis legs?

The only thing they could moan about is Rodri not getting a second yellow but they wouldn’t as even though they drew that was like a cup final win for them.

If you don't want to read it all, we're 2nd in the Desperation Rankings and here's what Spurs & Liverpool ?!? fan Ryan O'Hanlan says.

"Back at the other end of the table, Man City's transfer business continues to baffle. They paid an extra €23 million to bring in Palace defender Marc Guéhi, who would've been a free agent after the season. And then they paid €72 million to sign 26-year-old winger Semenyo, who has been great for Bournemouth but doesn't really seem as if he helps with a position of need for a team with plenty of excellent attackers.

In a league in which there are real spending controls now, you don't spend nearly €100 million on transfer fees for those two players unless you're desperate."

ESPN is the same level of Red-centric as the BBC - but for him to twist the Guehi signing into paying "AN EXTRA" 23 million Euro is complete insane and utterly predictable.

Also the snide "real spending controls now" is just another way of saying there were never constraints on us before - which is odd because i thought there was some charges around that stuff although that was so long ago maybe i'm not remembering correctly.
