It’s shocking how quickly his premiership has unraveled after all the turmoil that went before all he had to do was turn up for work every day, he didn’t even need to do anything!!!

If you went down your route no government would get credit for anything and the following government would probably take the credit for stuff so long as they didnt undo it because the actual completion of it often happens under the next lot

When stuff is done I will give credit for it, if it was implemented by a previous govt they will still get credit for it. I cannot make this any simpler.

If people wish to give a thumbs up for things yet to occur or may never happen knock yourselves out, coincidentally its always their team they do it for as a rule. Erm....... Wonder why :-)

Hes mainly suffered from telling the Labour members he was one thing and middle England he was another and he collapses with criticism from either.
Hard to feel too sorry for him really, the more faces you show the more slaps you're gonna get.

I would have thought that nearly every ‘journalist’ would be doing this, the majority work for the right and want Labour out.

Just looking ahead, I’m musing on what policies will be reversed, and further weakened, once Labour are out?
  • Workers rights
  • Minimum pay levels
  • NHS
  • Education
  • Housing/Rent regulations
  • Freedom of speech
  • ?
Looking back, we’ve seen how the Tories treated the people of this country, from austerity to piling them high. If they get in again, with their oligarch benefactors, things are going to get much worse for the people that need it most.

Middle earners will soon be the low paid while the elites take even more.

This is happening at an accelerated rate in the private sector. Pay inflation for minimum wage earners is running at over 4.1%, for middle earners its nearer 2.5%. Meanwhile fiscal drag is putting more middle earners in the higher rate so 40% of any increase is being absorbed as tax.

The whole salary structure and more importantly disposable income is getting compressed.

Take housing in our town it started when the Tories were in government, it has continued since Labour took office. The council/private developers have built hundreds of brand new houses with a small garden not flats on brown field sites at reasonable cost to buy or rent.

We still have pockets of the poorest of the poor an underclass who depend on state benefits. Here lies my problem those who reach ultimate power constantly let down the local councils and communities with the sleaze that takes over when they reach the pinnacle. Who can reach the ultimate job and stay clean I don’t know
