It looked like the usual performance this season up until 80 minutes. Excellent first half, followed by a poor second and dropped points.

That said, going 1-0 down and struggling in the second half makes this performance all the better. To grab the win, when the pressure is firmly on, at Anfield in the last 10 minutes is top quality. The team showed some serious balls tonight.

Show that attitude for the rest of the season and it could be a special one.

We had more possession, more shots, more shots on target. Fully deserved to win the game. Yes, the murderers had a few chances but over 100 minutes we were the better team.
