How can you deny a goal scoring opportunity when the goal was scored by another player than the one that was fouled?
Rules are so fucked up these days.

Haaland fouls Szobozlai = goal can't be awarded.

So they go back to the advantage being played, and if Szobozlai hadn't pulled Haaland back, he'd have gotten to the ball first and scored.

So it's DOGSO and a red.

It's 100% the right decision, you can't criticise the VAR or Pawson for doing their jobs. You can maybe have the "do we want VAR" argument again but it was refereed completely by the book.

The ball goes in if that **** doesn't pull Haaland back, the only way he gets back to clear it is because he pulled Haaland back.

Yet the benefit is given to them ultimately in terms of the goal.

Bollocks.
The rules are right, you dont like it and that's fine but the decision was correct. Its straightforward, its been explained. The problem is yours.

Same here - fantastic to see Haaland/Szoboszlai on the monitor, wasn't it?
To think that I'd have taken a boring 1-0 - I can still feel the butterflies in my stomach.
Couldn't have written a better script :-)

It was so typical of City eh ??

Looking sluggish and giving a typical under par 2nd half performance yet again, they suddenly explode into attacking mode for the last ten minutes to win the game !

That will have upset the watching gunners in North Londons pubs and bars !

We’ve scored in the second half
We’ve won a second half
We’ve won at Anfield

We also came from behind to win, and score a stoppage time winner, something we've not done all season

Im curious which coach does our defending for set pieces.

That person should be fired.

That was the worst wall I've seen in my entire life, I would laugh if I saw a team do that at school level.

If you're watching the Sky post-match they just clearly showed Bernardo lined up in the wall and Donnarumma shouted at him to get away, he wanted to be able to see the ball.
