Dias cannot just walk back into the side, khusanov and Guehi are the future and compliment each other's attributes very well, they have to remain first choice options


Not sure how concussion protocols work, if you're subbed off for that reason, don't you instantly become unavailable for 10 days? Do we even know if it was that? My commentary suggested it was.

If he has a concussion he can't play for at least 10 days I think. But a concussion sub isn't an automatic diagnosis, just needs a doctor to suspect a concussion.

He was immense, and yet I also think Dias coming on when he did was really important for us, we needed his leadership in the last 20 minutes and he wouldn't have been there without the injury.

Ekitike ran off MG, who had an outstanding game. But it’s a sport, and everything can’t be perfect all the time. It’s Liverpool away, we gave up one real chance, and then we conceded from a 45 yards free kick.

I think they brought that in along with the replacement sub, not being counted as a normal substitution.
Pity the refs don't clamp gown on these faking head injuries, wouldn't be long stopping the cheating.
