Liverpool (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

There was not one single reason to let it go.outside of your own personal preference as a city fan. Im happy with the win. If you're upset by the rules being observed I don't know what to say.
Would you have given a shit if Liverpool had won 3-1 in exactly the same circumstances against us ? I wouldn't. The final goal would have made no difference to me if it was, say, Salah and Dias involved instead of Haaland and Szoboszlai.

If you are finally going to score a goal in the second half for the first time this year and finally come from behind, what a place to do it.
I will hold my hands up, I thought we would lose today. A good performance in the first half but once again we didn't take our chances, I was fearing the worst after our recent second half performances. We mostly weathered the expected storm second half but kept at it, kept within reach. Bernie take a bow, lovely taken goal.
A crazy, crazy last 10 mins.A great save from Donna but I am a bit pissed off that the third goal was ruled out. We got the three points though and it's really important that we push on from here.

I seen stars, got chest pains and was sweating like fuck in those last 15 minutes.

Football is going to be the death of me but it was all worth it. I simply won't sleep tonight.
I've always said thanks to city I'm on ramporil and statins, asked my GP if I'd be on them for life , his reply "following city I'm afraid so "

Advantage played for Haaland, however due to him pulling back the Slob, it’s a foul but Haaland gained no advantage so it’s brought back to that foul, which is preventing a goal scoring opportunity even though we scored, so red card and free kick. It was the right decision according to the law, good job it wasn’t for an equalizer or winnwr though.

He did gain an advantage, as it led to a goal?

Have been suffering with depression lately, cannot tell you what that result meant to me. Thanks all on the Matchday thread today, great day - and its the only joy I had on a mid-50s birthday!
The black dog is always hanging around me mate and I find days like today ridiculously stressful at times. Seems silly after the final whistle :)
Happy Birthday Blue and stay safe.

Why do you even watch football if you can't take the positives from today? Fanny.

Saying we got lucky doesn't mean I don't think it's a fantastic result.

Would you not have been much more pleased for the season ahead of we played like we did first half for 90 minutes instead of being dominated second half yet again?

I was at the Newcastle game and couldn't believe the improvement with oh really in midfield, absolutely bossed the show with simple effective passing and his athletic covering. He did it again today in against a top class midfield. He's under the radar because he's usually left back and it looks like he's just filling in but he is the real deal. foden is on the bench, cherki and rjeinders are on the bench. He's not a left back. He's a midfielder and he is fucking good . Did you notice who finished alongside haaland when that ghost goal rolled in? That was injury time and he fucking legged it to get himself up there
Thank god we never took the Chelsea dollar for him, priceless

But he fouled someone to get that goal, that is the issue. It’s screwed I know but it was the right decision, do I like it no and if we lose the title on goal difference I’ll be fuming.
