Liverpool (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

Have been suffering with depression lately, cannot tell you what that result meant to me. Thanks all on the Matchday thread today, great day - and its the only joy I had on a mid-50s birthday!
Take care, days like these (away at anfield) don’t come often, allow this short blast of happiness to lift some of the lowness you’ve been feeling. Here’s to your recovery.

Cherki won't have done himself any favours there. First with the shot from the halfway line when he really should have just played Haaland in and the free kick right at the end where he just blasted it over when others were saying play it wide and hold onto the ball.

I think he'll be a great player for us but he just needs to engage his brain a little.

Away win at Klanfield.....

Would you have given a shit if Liverpool had won 3-1 in exactly the same circumstances against us ? I wouldn't. The final goal would have made no difference to me if it was, say, Salah and Dias involved instead of Haaland and Szoboszlai.
The referee doesnt make a decision on the whim of how arsed @stan bowles is or me in fairness.
It was the correct decision and no amount of incorrect reasoning changes it. Move on.

But he fouled someone to get that goal, that is the issue. It’s screwed I know but it was the right decision, do I like it no and if we lose the title on goal difference I’ll be fuming.

I'm not arguing that it wasn't right, just trying to get it really. If advantage was played anywhere on the pitch, and that player then went to foul the opponent, woud they call it back to his foul?

we are fantastic team just need more consistency but that will come with time as we building new team and we need more world class players .I. think Hugo Viana is doing great job so far as unfortunately we left the rebuild abit late since the champion league .
