I thought that too - I mean if the person wronged was the only person that can give evidence that will lead to conviction would't that make murder the perfect crime?
 
The media are clamouring for Andrew to give evidence in New York, all very good if he was willing but why is he the only one I know of in the frame?
The sort of racket Epstein built on his island, there must be many more perpetrators

I always have the film 'Eyes Wide Shut' in mind when I think of the kind of parties that went on. There will be a small number of people within the inner circle of his operation and dozens who'll have been privy to the more sordid goings on at the island and other addresses. After that, there will be loads who knew or had an idea of what was going on and still didn't seek to distance themselves.

Fair play to them. Pretty wild that they are the only ones pushing for further redactions though? People need to keep the pressure on rather than just moving on and letting the paedophiles and their accomplices get away with raping and potentially murdering children.

In other news, trusty old 'Tommy Robinson' has chipped in on the epstein files, explaining that "there hasn't been too much mentioned about his connections to power players in Russia". Lol:

You are getting this the wrong way round.

Anyone can give live evidence, assuming they have (or claim to have) an eyewitness account of matters that are relevant.

The issue is that the default position is that evidence is only admissible if they attend court to provide it, and be tendered for cross examination.

Ordinarily, unless by agreement, the witness statement of a witness cannot be read into the record. They need to attend court to be challenged on the contents of that statement.
 
It is all going to come crashing down with major revelations. But it is like pulling teeth and will take a while.
