Interesting comments from Pep about the team needing to learn the new system. Convinced he’ll get it right me, just need a plan b for 2nd half!

Only Arsenal and Brentford still scheduled for 3pm and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know the Arsenal one will change.

Is it any wonder there are empty seats.

It does my head in when I read Pep pleading for the supporters help again ..... it's fast flowing direct attacking football that wins games, raises spirits, and has the fans roaring .... not backwards and sideways passes with the odd shot thrown in every now and again in for good measure, like we usually see in the 45 minute games we've been getting at the Etihad lately !!

I beg to differ midweek games were a rarity when we only had the League, FA Cup and European Cup (1 team per country). It is the greedy buggers at UEFA, FIFA, PL and FA that have added all these extra competitions and matches prompted by the TV companies.

I know, I meant league games have generally always had a few midweek fixtures throughout the season going back decades.

But if we were second in the league; in a cup final & still in CL & FA cup when I used to be in the Kippax, I wouldn’t need to be asked to support the team.

That Wolves match was a complete bore fest the last time I was at the Etihad. I will be there tonight hoping for something better. As you say it is what you see on the pitch that gets the crowd up for it. Pissing it down with rain is not going to help either.
 
I wonder if we might see the return of the lesser spotted Phil Foden tonight. Hopefully his time on the naughty step will have his mind refocused.
 
Why are teams running through us in the second half? Is it lack of legs, creative players unable to do their bit to repel opposition attacks once the game becomes fast and furious? We're in the business end of the season now. Do we need to be pragmatic and consider a middle three of NO - Rodri - NG. We go for a possession based game with the aim of delivering a 1 or 2 goal win.
