It's down to Pep instructing the players to conserve energy and slow the tempo.
He's always playing the long game and it's served us quite well over the years. We'll be full pelt from April.
Slowing the tempo is perfectly fine and much better than going long & getting it back twice as fast. Don't think anything in the second half was to do with strategy or tactics though - the players were just off it second half, making bad decisions or executing poorly. Scoreline & conditions probably helped in that regard.
