Maybe footballers should just carry on playing with their torn ACLs then? Or would the right medical advice be to have surgery and allow it to heal rather than taking part in a sport that's known for being damaging to knees (skiing and football)?
Bravest? Not a chance. Darwin award attempt, definitely
Why would any footballer play on with a torn ACL, I didn't remotely suggest that!Maybe footballers should just carry on playing with their torn ACLs then? I was trying to point out how brave (and silly) she was to not accept defeat in her Olympic dream and ignore all medical advice to compete in the downhill skiing!
So you don't think she was brave to try and win a Gold medal, by skiing at 80mph, with a ruptured ACL? Yes it was very stupid to attempt it and was always going to fail! That's why she might have to have her leg amputated!
You sound silly saying that she isn't brave mate!
