Just watched the skellington. That lad smashed it.
Did you have a brew from your kekkle?Just watched the skellington. That lad smashed it.
Didn't know it was possible to cheat at curling but the Canadians may have been caught doing so.
Looks pretty clear that he touches the stone with his finger after it was already released.
Caused quite a stir
Not penalised for it though.
The guy is an absolute Maine Head!Well done that man! I wonder if there’s a special tray built in to hold those huge huevos
It was obviously a stupid decision, that might result in her having her leg amputated! but that clearly wasn't my point! In fairness, she did crash and break her leg requiring extensive surgery, so perhaps not the best decision she ever made.
I know you’re not saying different but her crash had nothing to do with her knee problemsIt was obviously a stupid decision, that might result in her having her leg amputated! but that clearly wasn't my point!
My point was about her strength and determination to compete in the Olympics, 9 days after rupturing her ACL, because she wanted it so much!
She has said that she would do it again and regrets nothing. She will also be forever remembered as a true Olympic hear for her bravery.
Some people would say that it was the bravest decision any Olympian has ever made since Jessie Owen choosing to embarrass Hitler in his own back yard!
At least she had the guts to try!
I was trying to make a comparison to Footballers who take 9 month to start jogging with the same injury BTW!
She is deluded.I know you’re not saying different but her crash had nothing to do with her knee problems
Impossible to say that with full certainty I think.I know you’re not saying different but her crash had nothing to do with her knee problems
Maybe footballers should just carry on playing with their torn ACLs then? Or would the right medical advice be to have surgery and allow it to heal rather than taking part in a sport that's known for being damaging to knees (skiing and football)? It was obviously a stupid decision, that might result in her having her leg amputated! but that clearly wasn't my point!

He’s a city fanGutting for the British lad in the speed skating, Chinese skater took him out from behind.
VAR blamed the British lad, just as shit in their sport too.

Well you know what they say. Once you've had one Chinese you feel like another straight away.He took out both Chinese though.
Iv'e also really enjoyed seeing how genuinely happy and proud every other competitor is for the eventual Gold Medalist! That was brilliant to watch, he knew he was winning it, didn't flinch once, didn't watch anyone else do a run.
What's been so good is the camaraderie from everyone no matter where they finish.
Then I watched that video on the previous page, so sad to watch those young people who have died for their country.
