It's amazing the BBC can do sport (Wimbledon, fa cup, world cup, six nations etc.) + drama + news+ radio. All for £15 a month

It's catching on Sainsbury are charging me 15 quid a month so I can shop in Tesco. I dont use Sainsbury but I use supermarkets, so I have to pay Sainsbury not to use Sainsbury !

Allegedly

Thing is, if they offered billions for the PL and the licence fee went up by £20, there’d be uproar!!
What they should do is act like their competitors do and compete as a commercial business, they won't do that cos too many tax payer funded jobs are gone and probably a certain political vote.
Defund the bbc.

As it's been Grimsby Vs Wolves in the FA cup, I noticed that a supporter had posted (and it was shown) in the bbc FA cup feed , about them playing each other in the 70's when the supporter was growing up.
Not one to miss the opportunity...I posted in about another time they met in the FA Cup and had the highest attendance ever at a particular football stadium, well over a few thousand more than the usual inhabitants.
Strangely it wasn't published.

BBC's most recent city articles:

Does Guardiola have a Foden problem?

"The goods news is we go through"

"Not what I expected" - Trafford on Man City back-up role

From 'demoralising' 8-0 defeat to pushing Man City all the way

Analysis: City struggle to get the job done

Also, the license fee is going up to £180. That's the cost for netflix for nearly three years, prime for two. Can anyone join the dots and predict the future?

If the content is that good why do they enforce the licence fee with the threat of prosecution for non payment? Anyone is welcome to pay the licence fee but their output is bobbins and their sports department really, really dislike our club.
Their online football dept in Salford certainly do. I’m not sure the athletics, tennis, cricket, F1 staff give a toss though.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was unsure whether football was better with VAR, despite seeing Omar Marmoush denied a goal for a debatable offside in his side's 3-0 win against Salford.

BBC article about VAR, what was debatable about a clearly onside goal being chalked off?

They didn’t mention it in any of their multiple negative post match articles
