Quite right. I’d like to hear from the Flat Earth Society and from a few Creationists too. And as for just assuming that the Earth orbits the sun, jeez there’s just no balance at all. These lefty “scientists” get all the headlines.

I get really pissed off with talentless BBC presenters earning a fortune for reading an autocue and talking bollocks. Balding presents programmes on swimming, cycling, athletics and a host of other sports of which she knows fuck all. Same goes for Bushell and dozens of others.

The answer is literally in your comment. Her job is "presenter" not analyst. It doesn't require her to be an expert on every sport.

Disliking her is one thing (understandable) but complaining she's not an expert on every sport she presents is fundamentally not understanding the job.

Formerly Trinity Mirror, now Reach PLC, have disgracefully degraded the concept of local news over the last three decades. Mass redundancies and unreadable websites full of pop ups

They’ve sacked so many Manchester journalists that they now load their MEN website with stories from Liverpool, Newcastle, Birmingham etc, dishonestly without telling the reader

This dishonesty is laughably dressed up as ‘we’re like the Washington Post or the New York Times, we cover both local and national’ and not admitting its direct result of their greedy, money-based assault on the principles of relevant local news reporting and scrutiny

Also they were redshirt obsessives. Trinity Mirror was formed out of the Liverpool Echo and their management and handpicked mouthpieces reflected that, as did their output

They profited heavily from basically not being the Sun post-Hillsborough so aggressively chased that Scouse demographic

Also chased united simply for commercial reasons. And if that means City are collateral damage, as with the Johnson Paints Trophy, then they don’t care

The twat who wrote that btw didn’t show at the weekend, they sent a freelance -a female iirc, so she got all the flak, unfairly, typical cowardice from that company

They have royally shit themselves at the rise of micro local subscription new sites like the Mill - first with laughable attempts at long reads, now with subscriptions.

Although I also have serious reservations about that company. It’s a hotbed of out of town plastic reds and their output often reflects that. They openly hate us

And given how many stories they do about sexual predators, they have yet to address why their founder and southern student rag cheerleader was chased out of the USA for exactly that sort of behaviour

But back to Reach PLC. So now they expect everyone to pay for their unreadable bullshit websites

Nonsense. It will all go free again or they’ll sell up within 6 months

Agreed. It's absolutely rubbish. Nobody is going to pay beyond the wall to know a dog is loose on Mount Road.

You're right that I dislike her. But she is also opinionated and I don't want to hear her opinions on sports she knows fuck all about.
