Seat Counters 25/26

Originally the game was supposed to be at 12:30 and some 8hrs before Arthur takes to the stage. It was only fairly recently moved to an 8pm kick-off, and we can blame the PL for that as they've moved it to suit Newcastle due to their CL playoffs.

Regardless, the infrastructure around the campus is awful and made even worse by the extended parking restrictions. This should have been looked at before the arena was built but wasn't.
What is that old school site off Palmerston Street being used for now? Used to be a really handy off street parking option.

It was looked at before the arena was built, they took away about 5,000 more pasking spaces and provided 200 electric bike stands. The Arena owners agreed to pay for the extended resident parking area and enforcement, signed the deal, then consulted on it.

It was greed from the Arena owners which led to this, whoever those shithouses are.
Limiting car travel in Manchester is public policy and one of their mechanisms is to reduce car parking numbers. I think that is where the pressure on car use at the Etihad is coming from.

A hell of a lot of the blue car park closed for today's match in readiness for the Brit awards next week.

It's James Arthur playing at the Co-op Live today.

It's a warm day so hopefully more Blues can walk to the ground / catch public transport.

Supporters Club buses are another option for some.

Don't think walking an option for later, very very wet forecast this afternoon

Transport, planning, net zero policy is well known.

If you read the planning application it is clear the extended restrictions were due to the Arena boasting it would be open over 50% of the time, the extra jobs etc, and the impact it would have on local residents and businesses, possibly going from 25-30 affected days to 200+.

If you put your ticket on the exchange and it doesn’t sell do you not get the 1/19th money back for it from the club?
Also, if it doesn’t sell does that then not count as your ticket being ‘used’

Depends on if it's a guaranteed refund game if it you'll get a refund if listed 10+ days before the fixture.

It doesn't count as being used for the 10 game rule that you have to attend but does for the 16 you have to either attend, transfer or exchange

191 showing left for tonight.
They take off the exchange ones 3 hours before ko so probably a couple of thousand empty seats. Guaranteed refund for exchange so lots will bin this considering ko time transport chaos due to piccadilly stn closed and 20k at the arena same time. Just setting off now from M9. Cmon City .

How do you work that one out Einstein.
There were less than 800 when they took them off the exchange, 200 remain now.
Don't make things up to suit your narrative.
