Seat Counters 25/26

It will be approx 7000 if required
Block A is larger than the block's on the corner and also the lower section of the top tier will also go round to block A
I think 7000 would take us well round the corner, Luton took 7500 there in 2018 and they had a third of the Milburn top tier too.

That's a great idea.
To me, the Club needs to rebuild bridges with the fans.
An extra 2,000 fans would help make it a great occasion.
Any fans who attended when City won the League there in 1967, should get free travel...
Sorry Platty my away game days are long past, but I was there in 1968 not 67 the 11th May.

Differential pricing depending on when you purchase something is the norm these days. Certainly applies to flights and holidays. I have bought my season ticket in advance but could not care less what the club does for last minute sales. My experience will be better if the ground is full. I used to get cheap tickets when I was unemployed in the late 70s. It's all swings and roundabouts.
Although I agree somewhat you usually get a deal for purchasing in advance and also for purchasing in bulk
I have a season ticket and I am in all the cup schemes and I am lucky that I am in a financial position where the price of the tickets doesn’t really affect me and I don’t normally give it any thought whatsoever
However nobody likes to be ripped off and it could make some reevaluate their position
Conversely some people who struggle to buy tickets and attend the odd game could well be outraged and never go again on principle
God knows what the correct answer to the problem is

Talking of empty seats my son said on a site he’s on Burnley and Blackburn fans were going on about empty seats to him unbelievable I know , but I had it with a Coventry fan on a site to which I replied we get your record ever attendance every week at home , the look of total fuckwittery was something to behold

I knew a Coventry fan in the 90s and he used to say he hated it when they played City at home because it sounded like the whole ground was away fans.

Part of the answer is not thinking too deeply about affordable tickets for a lower profile midweek game.

There’s different ways of looking at it. There’s an argument that a season ticket is now worth a premium to guarantee being sat with friends and family, much like the charge airlines ask for when selecting your seats on a flight, but also to guarantee tickets for the big games. One of the reasons often given for giving up cup schemes is that fans don’t like the fact it’s a different crowd around them (tourists, neutrals, away fans etc) so we can’t have it both ways. I think this idea of selling off singles is a brilliant idea as long as it’s just for the “difficult to fill” matches and is only done in the final week or two of sales. It mostly opens it up to locals who can change plans easier than those from afar.

I’m lucky enough to have a season ticket but can remember when I was young and skint so am happy for cheap tickets to be made available to fans who deserve to have them.

selling quick, only about 15 left....they will release more blocks
Think you're getting mixed up with L7H - there's 241 still showing in L7F

It'll be interesting seeing how many shift in the next 2 windows - all ST holders with less than 15,000 points and not on the cup scheme come into play. We've seen instances this season where those on lower points have taken up a lot of the slack for the league games that have gone down to low points. I reckon a few few will go in those 2 windows but for me the real biggie could be when it goes down to members with purchase history at 4pm
