Seat Counters 25/26

Just got a few, when I went on at 4, block L7F was showing 8 left, when I checked before logging out it had 14 left, block L7E had 387 left when I first went on, 235 when I logged off, I sympathise with the seasoned counters…for you life is a moving feast!

don't sympathise, this is what we live for, last week was incredible, today is our bread and butter but we treat each game with the same importance, although not many people are fancying newcastle away

Now it's 294.

Almost certainly very few members have bought and that this will not sell out. Sales will be negligable from tomorrow onwards.

If this any other time other than 8.00pm then we would have taken full allocation no doubt but given we have a league cup final in a couple of weeks, a possible Euro away trip, no trains home, then something has to give and it looks as if it's this game.

Definite CL away the following Tuesday or Wednesday AND hotels in Newcastle aren’t exactly cheap for an overnight.

the away end will have the usual 2000+ same faces though, all making their 3rd trip there, the reality is thousands just cannot be bothered, Newcastle would have sold 7800 at The Etihad in the same circumstances, i think we just have to be honest. We sold 9000 for spurs away on a friday night a couple of years ago and the branch i am privvy too took 30+ members to that game, for newcastle not one person has applied out of 60 members.

I'm not waving the white flag just yet with newcastle. Now that members can buy lets see how many sell over the weekend, rekon it could be a few more than people think. Sales usually tick along nicely once members can buy

There are probably far more supporters with memberships in the South than in the North East

City could’ve put on 20 free coaches for this, especially with the lack of trains running.

Would’ve shifted another 1500, improved our atmosphere and cost next to nothing.

The club has no interest whatsoever though and are that out of touch, they probably don’t even know about the trains not running that weekend.

188 now. So unless they’ve took some in that block off sale, they’re still selling. If that’s all that’s left in that block, can see another block opening tomorrow if they continue to shift tonight and overnight. With 9 days to go to the game, I think having a cut-off of tomorrow is too soon and we should still keep selling over the weekend at least but obviously we don’t know what the club have agreed with Newcastle in terms of a cut-off point.

Tomorrow definitely too early, they've only been on sale 2 days.

Give people pay day plus a big win at Elland Road on Saturday and see where we're up to on Monday. I can still see us selling another block or 2

And tomorrow is monthly payday for a lot of blues, so that factor may shift a fair few.

This part is unfair IMO. I’ve been up there twice but I’m missing this one as the football has been thick and fast this year, probably more so than any other year and we’re back to Wembley again in the same month.

I get that questions should be asked for Blues not showing for home games but there’s more to it when missing aways. Affordability comes into it for some, as do kick off times, trains, the number of midweeks and weekends spent away from the family etc. If it wasn’t so intense this year, I’ve no doubt we’d have taken the full allocation.
