Btw, the policies where regards Asylum Seekers are treated here (Living in converted hotel rooms, sometimes four to a room, not allowed to cook their own food, given a pittance to live on, given the same food every day with little variety, waiting internminably on a decision on their future, eventually moved into a shithole HMO that a landlord profits off and an external organisation also profits off to maintain, or a dilapidated family home, that constantly leaks and has breakdowns heating in the coldest months that aren't sorted for weeks or months sometimes, whilst being castigated and blamed for all ills in the country) isn't the wonderful life you and people like you make it out to be, given I've worked in the sector. The draw for people to come here is often via connections with family, communities and the fact they speak English better than French or German or Swedish or whatever other place they could of stopped in (And many many more do than here. And are usually treated considerably better.)
So, Labour or the Tories policies on Asylum are immaterial, we're signed up to the UN Convention on Refugees, to remove ourselves from that might be as damaging on a world stage as the ongoing catastrophe that Brexit is.
But you don't give a fuck about any of this, you see a brown bloke getting a shit smartphone and staying in what used to be a 5 star hotel and think he's living the life of riley.
