Both of those are distinctly average. Miles away from what they used to be. Arsenal will beat them without any issues.

Disgaree that these games will pass without any issues. Neither team are what they were but they still have lots of ways to beat Arsenal. The games are gonna start coming thick and fast and Arteta's not really a man who likes to use his squad.

Madrid reactions to drawing us yet again is worse than our reactions, we ate the team they fear playing, no complaints from me, it's a consequence of not doing well enough in the league phase. The arsenal route however is incredibly fortunate. They earned a little bit of good fortune from finishing top but not a free pass to the final.

At the start of the season when you plot out the dream scenario where you get easy ties and all the rivals knock each other out, that's just happened for Arsenal.

Whilst it would feel almost like a cheaters way of winning it, they won't give a shit and nobody will remember that. Feels like the whole of football have handed them the easiest opportunity ever to do a treble here.

Difference is they play Leverkusen and Bodø/ Sporting over two games

They may lose or draw one of the games, but they won't lose the ties.

Arsenal very rarely get beat as well, it's draws that are costing them. Which in the CL is not the end of the world.

I would argue they can rest players against Leverkusen and Sporting/Bodø.

Arsenal also play at home second in every game leading up to the final.

Our performances against Bodo and leverkusen have us were we are now. That's the reality.

When we won the Treble, we were in the difficult part of the scheme with Bayern and Real. It's the same now. And we had a decisive game vs Arsenal at the Etihad in April.
