US & Israel attack Iran

Well I suppose it would help if countries in the area ala Saudi would take in a few

Iranians made up the 4th largest group of small boat crossings across the channel last year. We don't get to tell other countries who they take in and we will have to expect that Iranians will move up that chart - but yes Go America, Go Israel yeah?

I think there is two aspects here.

The first, is this a positive or negative thing for the Iranian people and the world as a whole. On this I'm not sure but certainly hope so. Much will have to do with how long the bombings will continue and what the plan is beyond that. On this I'm not sure. I've read there are succession plans within the current regime, but if the regime falls the replacement has to bw an improvement. We've seen with the US that isnt always the case.

What I'm more sure of is that I dont think any country should be able to make a decision to bomb another country without it going through the UN. I'm guessing that hasnt happened here.

Well on the same token we do not have to accept them either.

I’m not pro American or pro Israeli but I am happy that a brutal regime which has sponsored international terrorism, killed it’s own citizens etc looks like it’s coming to an end

I think that last line is the key goal. Client states, while ignoring that maybe that might cause resentment amongst the people, resentment that someone else will have to sort out.

The US actions this year have demonstrated that abduction of leaders and murder of leaders is now acceptable to international diplomacy. Or will it be only for the 'right' sort of decapitations?
You do know that Russia tried to do away with Zelensky 3 or 4 times in the opening days of the 3 day special operation? The US is clearly following Putin's lead but being proficient at it.

The US get right on my tits.
I was born in 1968, and they have been involved in more wars than any nation I can think of during that time. I cannot think of a positive long-term outcome to the wars they have been involved in, and our support of them has brought some terror to our streets.
It is not for them to unilaterally decide to attack another nation.
It is not for them to impose leadership on a nation.
To have Netanyahu by their side as a moral ally is preposterous, standing as he does as the commander of a nation slaughtering 72,000 Gazans in the last two years alone.
To have Trump leading the way, convicted felon and sex-abuser that he is, acting as moral judge over the world's regimes, is equally offensive.
It is absolutely time for us to completely abandon the US and Israel as historic allies. I foresee nothing but trouble if we continue to support their heinous acts.

Little bit disingenuous.

One is people celebrating the end of an evil regime (as they see it) in their home land, and the other is a politician not wanting to see a school full of kids be bombed.

Ps: I’m not well informed enough to know for sure if it’s an evil regime - it looks like it was.

Maybe the deputy leader can explain his attendance here then.

I probably should feel sorry for the royal families of Abu Dhabi and UAE to be caught up in this shit show - but it's what happens when you passively support Putin. You don't get brownie points for being shits.
I do however feel sorry for normal folks who live across the Middle East.

What UAE and Saudi are doing in Sudan needs calling out more too. Bloody massacres going on through their funding and support for opposite sides.

Zak (err I mean Dave pretentious ****) Polanski is a complete and utter fucking knob.... and there are those who want him as PM? FFS, we moght as well throw in the towel and hand our country over now.
Hand it to whom?
Zack Polanski is a breath of fresh air in my view, and speaks of issues that affect us all: inequality, taxation, public services and the terror inflicted by Israel. Those issues unite because ALL of us are affected by them. Avoiding speaking about them is to the detriment of the main parties.
