Breaking fast during football

Our next 5 games during Ramadam all kick off after Sunset so it’s nothing to be concerned about, Eid finishes on the 19th or 20th March a couple of days before we play the Tarquin’s in the final.

In reply to "This didn't happen in the 70s" my reply of...

"You are correct, it didn't. In the 70s people didn't boo a 60 second break in play, instead they showed they were racists by throwing bananas at black players."

...lasted about 10 minutes before I was informed that it broke the rules.

Without getting to involved, I wonder if the fa will take action against Leeds. Is this racist or just against a certain religion.

Im not religious in anyway shape or form but if others are its up to them, I'm not bothered.
religious racism is still racism, it doesn't need to be against a specific race, despite what a racist might try to tell you.

Felt a bit performative with the purposeful stoppage of play and putting it on the screen. ‘Ooh look at us, we observe some bollocks for some made up spaghetti armed jelly man who lives behind the Moon’… as silly as Brazilians always wearing t-shirts telling us all that they ‘Belong to Jesus’.

Ramadan breakfast isn’t a stage performance that football needs to stop for. Just sling them a drink when someone goes down injured and don’t make such a big deal out of it.

100% agree. although Islam is not an ethnicity nor a race, a lot of people treat it that way, due to the social, political, and historical factors which overlaps with being Arab and the Arabic language.
A lot of people don’t have a problem with the Muslims, it’s the Islam they have a problem with.

For me personally, I feel a bit sorry for the Muslims, the people themselves, who’ve been conditioned from before they could fully form their own opinions, into believeing in it.

The more I actually learn about the Islam, the ideology, the more I dislike it.

Have you tried going without food or drinks for 12 hours?

Because if you did, I'm sure the moment the time was up that you could consume again, you’d want to do so straight away.

I do intermittent fasting.

On Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, I have breakfast dinner and tea.
On Tuesdays I eat only breakfast, on Wednesdays I eat only dinner and on Thursdays I eat only tea.
On Fridays I don’t eat at all, so go from Thursday teatime to Saturday breakfast without food.

And I do this as a lifestyle.

It actually makes you feel like you have more energy, not less.

But that wasn’t really my point. It was the whole performance of the thing, with a message on the screen and cued up notes from the commentator announcing it to the viewers like it was a stage show.

I don’t think there was anything wrong with announcing it.

At least no one, either in the stadium or watching on TV, could be in any doubt what the very short stoppage was for.

I've fasted as well, for 24 hours plus, but only when I've had a stomach bug, and wanted to clear it out of my system.
