US & Israel attack Iran

I feel for anyone living in the UAE who are there not by choice but due to their job or occupation who will be living in fear. The one silver lining is that people like Isabelle Oakshott (a person I can't stand & partner to Richard Tices) & other plastic patriots like her, who moved to Dubai because they objected to paying their fair share of taxes, right now will be shitting themselves.

Would you rather the US disarmed and left Russia with nuclear weapons?

Would you rather leave Iran to continue to arm Russia in fighting Ukraine?

Would you rather allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons so that it can blackmail the entire Middle East, and us?

I have nothing else to say other than if I had the choice I'd rather the US had nuclear weapons than Iran.

No one should have nuclear weapons. Period.

There’s a reason why we collectively prohibit firearms and our world is a better place.

The other side of the pond however. School shootings, homicides, gang violence. That is a world where to be safe from guns is to own guns.

At the very least, no nuclear weapons in the Middle East must mean no nuclear weapons in the Dimona Negev desert.

John F Kennedy fought for stopping the building of nuclear weapons in Dimona. He did as far as withholding provision of military vehicles and weaponry for Israel, which Israel was riled up for that. That’s not including of him preventing AIPAC (then the Zionist Assoc) to be part of the US political circle, demanding them to first be registered as a foreign body.

John Kennedy was assassinated. Two weeks after with Lyndon Johnson, the nuclear development continued, more military vehicles and weapons were exported to Israel, an Israel PM was the first to visit the White House, AIPAC entered the US political circle without ever needing to be registered even up to this day, and when USS Liberty was bombed by Israeli, Lyndon Johnson himself stated that it is better the USS Liberty is sunked than being embarassed by his ally Israel.

America first? Hardly.

Are Iran going to bomb the UK, no. Has the world and travel been made significantly more unsafe because of this - yes.

Ah yes, I wonder how the families of those 153 school children killed in a strike on the weekend are feeling.... They definitely wanted this to happen.
out of interest you are sure this happened? Just seems strange that there was 153 dead children in rubble but not one image of one child being removed from the rubble dead or alive, I actually watch Al Jazeera for an hour or so to check (unlike Western TV News they are not backwards in showing dead bodies)

The whole incident didn't seem right to me, load of people mooching about afterwards, nobody frantically digging through the rubble. Obviously with only Iranian media allowed to report hard to know for sure but I would question everything and just as you might not take Donalds spouting as facts I wouldn't blindly repeat the '153 dead girls' as any kind of truth either

They stated on sky that unlike Israel we have no iron dome and no protection.
Can't remember the guys name but seems pretty clued up on most military matters
We might not have the same protection or iron dome but Iran's ballistics miles are limited to 2,000 km according to this article.

Iran has the largest stockpile of ballistic missiles in the Middle East, according to the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence. They have a self-imposed range of 2,000 km (1,240 miles), which Iranian officials have said was enough to protect the country as they can reach Israel.

The US have all but admitted it, Capt Tim Hawkins, the spokesperson for US Central Command, said the US was “aware of reports concerning civilian harm resulting from ongoing military operations. We take these reports seriously and are looking into them”.

Trump and his cronies would be the first to deny it, the UN have released a full statement on it as well. https://news.un.org/en/story/2026/03/1167063

Given 3 US planes have already been shot down by mistake, it's really not hard to imagine a school has been hit?

God knows what he was on about

You are aware the Iranian authorities have shut down the internet there?

Surely if a missus launched all the way from there at the UK, we would have enough time to intercept it long before it reached us?

I'm fairly certain they don't have that capability.
Ive updated my post to @Gaz76, for some reason I cant reply/quote his last message to me.

Basically their current known militarised missiles cant reach the UK but they have developed multi-stage SLVs (Satellite launching platforms) which could be converted to ballistic missiles with far greater range, which could reach the UK. The problem is they are so large they would almost certainly need to be launched from full space launch setup similar to a NASA missile tower, rather than a truck launcher etc, so the feasibility of launching those is probably not possible now, unless they pre-emptively built hidden launch sites (quite possible).

This is just as much a strategic play against China and BRICS, the benefits to Israel are arguably secondary. China imports around 20-40% of its oil from Iran, Venezuela and Russia. The first two are no longer in play.

A good question is why does the US continue to appease Russia? If the US can bring Russia into the fold somehow then the Chinese economy is completely isolated or at least it stalls by its needs. We saw this happen in Europe with natural gas and the Ukraine war.

The US is now the 4th biggest domestic oil producer, oil supply will become constrained by this war, oil price goes up and major countries may have to get their oil elsewhere... Join the dots.
