Been Chief Operating Officer of the group since 2000, but is moving to become CEO of Stage Entertainment.
Sorry, yeah that was a typo. I met him in New York a couple of years ago, and he seemed like a decent enough fella but not sure how much he's been responsible for the increasingly strained relationship between the club and local fans? If so, it'd be nice if the new appointee helps to reconcile things on that front.I think you meant 2020, not 2000.
He came in then and seemed like a breath of fresh air but his subsequent interactions with City Matters and his attitude towards fan engagement has been largely negative.
He hasn’t. Exactly the opposite.Sorry, yeah that was a typo. I met him in New York a couple of years ago, and he seemed like a decent enough fella but not sure how much he's been responsible for the increasingly strained relationship between the club and local fans? If so, it'd be nice if the new appointee helps to reconcile things on that front.
Ahem!
I think he's suggesting that the current CEO won't be resigning imminently"Interesting that De Vries is not expecting an imminent vacancy as the CFG CEO".
Is this corporate speak for "he won't be replaced?
I see what you did there. I like it.He makes a very good point here - senior figures at CFG (such as de Vries and Berrada before him) leaving to secure CEO positions at lesser companies definitely indicates an internal confidence that the incumbent is going nowhere, and succession planning at CEO level is simply not part of the conversation at City.
Like or not - it appears that Soriano’s position is not under threat right now.
Which is good news as a barometer of the the mood at City, and confidence levels re: the accusations against us.
…and career-wise it’s hardly a step up from being COO at City Football Group to CEO at Stage Entertainment. Feels more like he just fancies moving back home than anything else.A Dutch man going to a Dutch company and someone on Twitter can read his mind?
Well you have, not bellend but putting links to the 115How long before some internet bellend links this to 115?
Club could be winding up.
