Poor tactics from Pep but the comparative effort, energy and desire were chalk and cheese. Real wanted to win, they ran their socks off, fought for every ball. Were composed and fluid in possession, disciplined and committed without the ball.

We were lethargic, lazy and ultimately looked pretty scared at times when we had the ball. Without it slow and showing too much respect.

We can still go through, but we needed at least one really tonight to have a realistic chance. It's going to take one hell of a performance to turn things around and I don't think the players are capable of it based on what we saw tonight.

Never played that team before and it showed never going to win a football match with two midfielders and especially Bernardo who plays all over the pitch and never stays central he should have played nunes and alt nouri ...nunes has been our best player for last couple of games and two assists last game Gonzales in the middle cherki from the start we had no composure on the pitch whatsoever pep underestimated them and thought he could steamroller them ....how wrong was he

You patronise anyone on here who has decided that supporting Manchester city (or any club) is a worthwhile and vital part of their life. And also you argue against yourself. Surely the match day thread is not toxic enough considering the vastly overpaid show ponies performing for City. Still, I bet you felt clever writing it.

I don’t think it’s understanding, it’s their ability. We have no Aguero, Silva, KDB, Vinny, Yaya, Zab, Fern level players anymore.

Everyone else, in the PL and Europe, have seen us dominant and have worked towards competing with us, having had us embarrass them year on year.

They've risen to that challenge (the challenge being us) and we've pretty much rested on our laurels and just expected our old ways to still work. And it feels like it's throughout the club, from the training pitch to the executives.

I would love to know why he brought Reindeer on instead of Cherki because we all knew he would offer absolutely nothing. One of the most disappointing signings of recent years.

4 shots on target but stats don't tell the story.
Must have been 8 or more balls across the 6 yard, or should have been.

Cherki went fucking mad when he played Doku in and he tried to turn inside instead of playing it across, the thing he was doing all of the first half.

There really are some utter dickheads so called supporting us, no doubt posting the complete opposite when we were winning the treble, four in a row etc.

Such short, shallow minds. You have to question their so called support. Last few pages are a complete joke.

If we win anything this season, don’t you dare cheer it or praise the manager.
