Don't agree, especially not if we pick well. I think we need a manager who likes playing stylish stuff but has more of a mediator/diplomat vibe about him. Enrique would be perfect for this. For the last 10 years or so, wherever he goes he tends to do 2-3 years, keeps things ticking over (or in the case of PSG actually elevates them), then hands it off to the next guy. In many ways the Barca side Enrique built after Pep was just as exciting as the 2008-2012 team, just in different ways.
He'd be like Pellegrini but better - I wouldn't say Pelllegrini failed either. He definitely missed an opportunity to start a PL dynasty, with Ferguson gone, but with hindsight he did alright. In the end it seems he was brought in to calm things down after the way Mancini's tenure ended, keep the seat warm while we sweetened Pep up and changed the way the club was run, and then bow out. Keeping us in the top four, winning a title, and getting a couple of cups was fair enough in the end.
Enrique can do better than that, even after Pep.
