It's the one thing I don't agree with Pep. Remember when he bollocked Raheem for taking the piss out of ushited at the end of the 2018 derby, fuck em these are the cunts who wrote the letter to Uefa to 'do something about City'. Like I said fuck em. A few kick ups and taking the piss is the least they deserve.
 
He's the reason many little kids watching the game yesterday will attach themselves to City.
The more sterile the game becomes the more it will need mavericks like him to keep future fans interested in the sport.
My God if he was playing for the rags the media would be proclaiming the reincarnation of George Best by now.

It's the same confidence and swagger with which he ghosted past three or four of their players to create space for us. Or held the ball unchallenged in their box before turning and going to the corner with it. He played sensibly and wound the clock down to help us see the game out. It wasn't something that then led to us giving the ball away or for his own personal glory at the expense of the team. He did it in exactly the way the team needed him to, so I have no problem with it.

And football needs these players. The PL has been incredibly dull at times this season with its NFL style set plays. I want to watch players who aren't pawns in a chess game, but love their football and want to entertain. Cherki has the ability to do what Bernardo does, just with more flair. In doing so he creates space for others.
 
Cherki is a city legend in the making!

His kick ups were hardly that offensive. First one was controlling the ball. No Arsenal player went to him so he kept it.

i can still remember tony currie doing something outrages on football field as kid things like that stick frank worthington juggling ball and scoring

Your first sentence is absolutely spot on. He is unique and in a short time has become, by far, the most exciting and interesting player to watch in the Premier League.
 
To be successful, you need plenty of shithouses. Cherki has got everything in his locker to carry this team to success. So happy with added some character to this team with the recent signings. Khusanov is rash as fuck but I hope that never changes, you need some mad dogs.
 
If you've not seen the video clip of him on the sideline moments before the whistle goes i suggest you go and watch it

Great to see how much it means to these new players to win a trophy

One million %.

There is so much talk theese days of how the game has become a sanitized corporate shell of itself. This lad is one of very few actual characters in the game at the moment, the more he shows that there still is a beautiful game in there somewhere, maybe one day we can get back to some proper footy games instead of this long ball, set piece purgatory we seem to be stuck in.

I hope he never changes and I hope Pep doesn't try to change him. He's box office.
