It was former Director of the FBI James Comey (Republican by the way) who ultimately derailed Hillary in 2016, tha same year in which was Robert Muller said Russia were all over the GOP campaign.

Not saying Hilary would've have been any good, but nowhere near as corrupt and incompetent as the incumbent leader.

Sick and tired of articles and Americans claiming this isn’t them . Yes it is you fucking morons , you voted him twice , the opposition to him and his acolytes was non existent. A country of gutless fuckers , hang your heads in shame .

Like nearly every other generalis(z)ation, this is wrong. It's some of us, not all of us.

There were a goodly number of us, in fact, Yanks and Brits et al alike who have been warning about him on this very thread and others for over a decade.

Over and over and over and over and over.

Hundreds, even thousands, of posts.

We were told by some that we were wrong, told by others that we were overreacting, told by still others things would all go back to normal when he was done.

Meantime, some of his most vocal supporters have disappeared from these threads to hide in others, pretending they've never said what they have.

Feel free to go chase them down and let them know what you think of them.

I wouldn't worry. Most people know it isn't most Americans who support this terrible administration.
The dumb don't know any better. The lazy didn't think they needed to vote to stop this happening. By now, even these people are starting to realise they have been lied to.
I still think the same as my American friends as before. I actually hate what they are being put through.
They hate Trump and Maga much the same as most decent people do.

In fairness, nobody really knew he would be this bad. There were signs, but we were all assured there were "checks and balances" in place. I feared for the worse, and was proven right. I cannot get my head round how fast he was allowed to bring America to its knees.
Trump is a monster. But he is also a reflection on the true state of American attitudes.

It really is what America does next.
Once this awful regime is removed (and hopefully imprisoned), changes need to be made to stop this ever happening again.
All trust has been lost. I'm not exaggerating to say that post Trump, it will be a new world order.
America's whole political system needs a severe overall. Especially how parties and campaigns are funded.
Unelected rich men cannot be allowed to have so much influence in the future. Elon and Co need putting back in their boxes.
