Because United Russia is a Nazi party.
What surprises me most though, is that Communists and Far Left folk STILL support Russia.
I guess it's the horse-shoe / circular politics theory in action in that the extreme right and extreme left are extremely similar.
More isuprising still is that Putin etc claim they need to root out the scurge of Nazism wherever it may be. I think you have to look closer to home to do that Vlad - starting with yourself.

This is putins problem. He is seeing his infrastructure being ground into dust and his army being ground into hamburgers and he doesn’t have a way out. If he retreats he looks weak and jumps out of the nearest high window. If he carries on his country eventually collapses and he takes a jump.

So I think that in his mind he is all in and has to win.
