Russian invasion of Ukraine

The UAF saying 400 soldiers killed by the strike.

BBC News.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces said 400 Russian soldiers had been killed in on New Year's Eve in Makiivka, in the Russian-occupied Donetsk region.

In a rare move, pro-Russian authorities admitted to casualties. But Russia refused to confirm the number of deaths, and the BBC is unable to verify this.

600 or 400 soldiers is still a massive loss of soldiers in 1 strike. Not some thing Putin will want to hear.

Possibly Russia will not want to accuse Ukraine for this heavy loss of life thereby admitting its lack of internal security so perhaps they prefer an accidental detonation of its ammo dump was the cause?
