Missing mooners

I don't really check for this thread, but BM has been a bit emptier for lack of posting by @mexico1970 on subject matter he would usually comment on.

It's unusual that his tag doesn't appear automatically, so I'm assuming he's binned off BM? He's not posted since Christmas, I think?

He and I could agree to disagree on matters quite civilly compared to many other posters on here.

I hope nothing worse than him leaving has happened.
He spent quite a bit of time helping me fix my laptop, knowledgeable guy in that dept.
I miss his posts. Didn't always see eye to eye, but so what.

As an aside, I did read that the way that survey was sampled and carried out, and the way the questions were framed, might have influenced the results just a tad.

Personally I don’t believe the figure is anywhere near 90% tbh. It’s significant, not gonna argue with that, but it ain’t 90%.

Have you ever met a single football fan of any club who is in favour of var? I haven’t. Literally not a single person I’ve ever met has said they’re in favour of it when the topic has come up.

Including several rags I know.

I’d put the figure a lot higher than 90%.

I genuinely think the true figure is something like 99%+ of fans hate it.
