IMO that’s the most interesting thing about the a10 being shot down (rumours coming out that it was 2 now) - Hegseth/Trump obviously ordered them to fly where they weren’t safe to.

Which suggests either they believe their own bullshit about Iran having no air defences, their intelligence is awful, or Hegseth knew it was bullshit but wanted the cool planes to fly and anyone who would have told him no got fired.

Two F15 go down and Hegseth fire’s three top generals including the chief who is a four star general they are taking the blame, it’s insane to fire the top man in the middle of a war with troops on their way it does nothing for morale.

It’s almost a deliberate attempt by Trump and Hegseth to smash the global economy, jumping from one thing to another they can’t make their minds up and there is every chance the new general in chief will have as many issues as the last general did.

I wouldn’t believe either of them until I was presented with corroborating evidence, as they are both wholly dishonest regimes.

The fact you would can only mean you are hopelessly naive and therefore ill-equipped to evaluate matters in this conflict.

It’s good news of sorts, as it has probably slightly reduced the prospects of this escalating further than if he’d been captured by the Iranians and paraded as a trophy.

The only evidence I have on that point is that you are prepared to accept the word of a regime that to anyone other than a simpleton it would be obvious are inveterate liars. This conclusion is easily arrived at by observing what they say and applying critical thinking skills. I’d say it isn’t especially hard for most people to do this

So yes, the fact you are happy to take what the US regime says at face value (which is precisely what you posted) means you are ill-equipped, poorly equipped in fact, to evaluate what is going on. Partly because you are taking numerous lies at face value so you are subject to misinformation as part of your process of evaluation, but also because it brings into question your wider judgement.

And I would say exactly the same to anyone who was naive enough to take at face value what the Iranian or Israeli regime had to say.

Think they probably have got him btw, but I absolutely won’t believe it until I see it, and there is verifiable evidence that it’s the guy who was in that plane, as I wouldn’t put it past them to pull a fast one on that.
