He absolutely got us :), “city legend” gets said a lot nowadays with the quality of players we’ve been blessed to see, but Bernardo really is one, still remember that Monaco game when all the hype was about mbappe but an “unknown” Bernardo silva ran the show, a few months later we made one of our best ever signings :)

Was hoping that he maybe had another extension in him. Absolute legend for city. His attitude towards the club, Manchester and everything blue won’t be replaced nor forgotten. So many legends departing season after season. Price of success. The biting into tackles and annoying the dips will never not make me smile. Hope we can do another trophy lift for him.

Just have to win the Cup Final this year. Some send off for him, as captain going up to get that trophy - can see it now.

Tbh, while I would have loved to have him for another season, it makes sense for all for him to leave on a high captaining us and winning a trophy or 2 or 3 while we get a new crew in.

We need to start going all in on the "next generation".
