The only correct approach to the election from a reasonable person was “Harris is imperfect. Trump is insane. I will vote for Harris.”

No poster not stating that then has a right to complain now without admitting they got it horribly wrong. That poster is definitionally complicit in Trump’s election.

It’s not especially complicated.

I'm at a loss to understand what America has done. They've had a few suspect Presidents I grant you, but by and large they've played the role as you would expect, conscious of their status as Leader of the Free World, the spirit of the Founding Fathers never far away.

Not this fella though. Can you think of a single thing he's done during this term where you've thought he's done the right thing there? I can't.

And how is America - a country of 340 million people - able to just sit idly by and watch, with nobody doing anything to put the brakes on his and his fellow sycophants' insatiable lust for death, destruction and chaos? Will nobody stand up to this madman? They can't all have been cut in on the latest deal, surely?

A few weeks ago Trump was all out to save Iranians from a tyrannical regime. Today he is the tyrant, threatening to level the whole country! Personally I think it's BS. Whatever happens overnight, Trump will carry on: brazen, unapologetic, shameless, a felon and a war criminal. Just as his international war criminal mates Putin and Netanyahu have done for years.

I'm no fan of Iran but good on the people there for toughing it out in the face of both Trump and Netanyahu's machismo and bombs. I long to see them both on trial at The Hague, however unlikely that may be.
