is it me am i being to logical, why are they only sorting the games out now, surely they could have gone through all permiataions before the QF. its 8 teams FFS an app on my phone could do that in less than 60 sec

They need to liaise with Network Rail to ensure that they're putting the engineering works and schedules at the places that will cause maximum disruption. It takes time to plan and close down stations and the line, hold strike ballots, etc..Give them a chance!

How many PL games are actually played at this time these days anyway and as previously stated only a miniscule number of match going fans of EFL teams would stay home to watch our game live on TV instead.

Carefully what you wish for. There isn't a big stadium up north to rival Wemble but a certain club, from just outside Manchester, want to build one. Maybe Wembley isnt a bad option after all

Assuming a 5.15 KO on the Sat, it looks there are is a maximum of two trains departing after 8pm that get back to Manchester the same night from Euston After thats its part bus which gets you in the next morning.

The Etihad (with the new stand) and Anfield are already easily big enough to hold a semifinal, so is United's even though it's a dump.

I'd add St James' and Everton's new ground too. Don't need 90,000 for a semi final, anything over 50,000 should be fine. There's obviously a few in London too.

London clubs shouldn't get the advantage they're consistently getting though. They've won 12 of the last 14 FA Cup semi finals containing a London club. I think 2 or 3 have been all London semis but it's a farce.

The only “rumours” I’ve seen are people positing it on here.

Nick Gregory who runs his own coaches to all away games, says it’s Saturday 5.15pm, I’m sure he has solid contacts at the club
