Our lads after a rest vs these lot who've bored their way to the semis... After 5 shots on target in 180 minutes... If we score in the first 15 mins and get into them the same way we did Vs Madrid I see them crumbling... They've now got a run of
Home Vs Newcastle
Away Vs Athletico
Home Vs Fulham
Home Vs Athletico
Away Vs West Ham

Can definitely see them dropping more points in the league

Nothing wrong with having confidence at all but you showed an air of arrogance of that of a spoiled brat. Arsenal are still TOTL for a reason let's not forget, and although we are capable of thrashing them they are definitely capable of thrashing us too.

I don't know how old you are but are you old enough to remember Arsenal absolutely schooling us 4-0 at Maine Road in April 2001?

They were so good that day that i and several hundred blues stayed to clap them off the pitch. It's not as though we were bad, they totally outplayed us and scored all 4 goals in 1st half iirc.

As much as we have come to dislike Arsenal due to their expectant fans(like you; ) we should try and remain humble and magnanimous in defeat, and i think the majority of blues are who attended games throughout all the bad times of false dawns, shattered dreams and utter despair.

One particular game at Maine Road(forgotten which) we were so fuckin' piss poor we got a corner and went mental as though we'd just scored. That was our way of amusing ourselves collectively back then because we were often too bobbins to get upset about: )
A game from 25 years ago has absolutely no relevance to Sunday , i was also at the 0-4 at Maine Rd., we are not arrogant fans , far from it , but we are entitled to be expectant we have the best manager in the world and some of the best players in the world , why wouldnt you expect to win the vast majority of your games ?
The 0-4 from donkeys years ago hurt , and i hope we do the same to them on Sunday

A repeat of the Carabao result would be good.

A week between matches should suit us.
Hopefully Taylor will be watching the rugby challenges they try at every corner!

This is not about Sunday. It’s about the rest of the season. We can lose Sunday and still be champions. They’ve got 2 legs of El Shithouseico to get through.

Up the Blues
A better team would have done them tonight, they have been nervous for weeks. And lucky for months. The whole footballing nation can see them for what they are. I find it hilarious that they are shitting the bed,and what goes around comes around. They are creating very little and if I was an arsenal fan I’d be worried.

Agreed.
Rubbishing the team that's 6 points ahead with easier fixtures (after Sunday) yet to play is the kind of thing that often comes back to bite you. And arrogance isn't the City way, at least it never used to be.
In the same way I never liked that big boastful eagle City had on the badge for a while; it was a long way removed from how we actually were when it first appeared - honestly a Holland's steak pudding might have been more appropriate.

(That said I think Sunday will go pretty well for City.)

It's one thing for fans to express their feelings on their own forum and another thing entirely for, say, the manager is players to act in an arrogant manner.

They're 6 ahead in a season where the rest of the so-called big 6 haven't turned up and we are still consisted to be rebuilding. It's not that impressive in the greater scheme of things.

Also worth noting that while they might be 6 clear it didn't reflect their performances, especially recently, right from back when they drew 2-2 wirh Wolves from being 2-0 up. How good they are will be determined after 38 matches, not 32.

One thing with them parking the bus is the chances we made in cup final we had two shots on goal won 2-0 that’s efficiency by us!

On form Sunday should be a City win but it’s possible they manage a draw. If this happens I still think we win the league as they’re going to find winning against anyone very difficult.

Their arses are well and truly gone.

Was that the game where he brought someone like Henry or Anelka on late and Blues all started singing 'you don't know what you're doing'?

We know what Legohead is going to do , every man behind the ball and hope for a set piece , own goal or a dodgy sending off , now Madueke is injured they will probably pin their hopes on a 16 year old child who is still at school , thats how desperate they are. A draw on Sunday will not be season defining , after Sunday we can win the last six league games , if it goes to the last day the Goons will cave in
He'll play the game. They'll get up to time wasting antics to try and put us off. The corner shenanigans will be right out of their playbook as that's one of the reasons they are where they are and if something worked for you previously then you go back to it. Arsenal know a draw will do them and if they win then the league is over.

For me it's about the 1st goal. If they score first then every throw in, every corner and every goal kick will take 2 minutes. Every tackle will be followed by a scream and a fall to the floor and the trainers will be on multiple times. Expect the keeper to have a fall after minimal contact at a corner and stay down.

Might not be pretty to watch but it's got them to top of the league and maybe their first league title in donkey's years. Plus it'll mean back to back titles for the Red tops and the PL will like that.

I think we will win.
I think they will try to spoil.
Pick the same team, if possible, and they won't keep us out, IMO.
I have seen nothing about Nico O other than fan account supposition, but Ait-Nouri is a very capable full-back regardless.

An early goal may or may not help.

We scored in the first minute at Newcastle in 2019 (Aguero) in a seemingly decisive game and lost 2:1. Fortunately, Liverpool couldn't capitalise on our mistake and the rest is history.

The only important thing is to win: early goal, late goal, two late goals, 5:0, 1:0, it doesn't matter. These are details. Everyone prefers an easy win, but the crucial thing is to win.

You’ve gone early
