Sad news Rip Eccles Blue. Read many of your posts and bluemoon will be poorer without you x
Does Danny Wilson know ?
It would be good if the club did something Sunday.
That's great, thanks for letting us know.Danny Wilson does know as my mum has been in contact with his secretary who my gran was in contact with whilst in hospital
A wonderful woman inside and outHi
I’m Shiela/Eccles granddaughter I just felt I had to comment and say the family are absolutely blown away by the amount of lovely and heartfelt messages on here about her.
She loved going to the football and clearly made so many wonderful friends and a real city family through it.
Thank you all for sharing your stories and words - it’s brought a smile to my face (along with a few tears) to see that other people thought as highly of her as we did x

Haha. You definitely put a smile on my face, which I needed this week.I'll bring a tear to your eyes next time we meet up when i say - "your shout at the bar, ya tight owd fooker".
Only joking, mate; )
That's made me well up again :-(Just been reading the Photos thread and seen this from 1st of December. :(
A proper die hard blue right till the end.
@MichelleO
So sad. I loved reading her comments. Never a bad word, just true support for her blues, especially her John Boy. RIP fellow Blue, you will be sadly missed.Sadly I heard yesterday from a friend who goes on the bus from monton that Eccles Blue sadly passed away. Before her bad health started Sheila travelled home and away and liked to come on Bluemoon to support her beloved blues.
Sheila was a lovely likeable lady and will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
God bless She. True blue.
Absolutely yes, always double checked and sanitised before posting. The way you'd write to The Queen, which in many ways she was. In fact, I found myself grimacing whenever I noticed anyone, who maybe wasn't aware of her standing, using words or language that she would not take kindly to. A gentle EB put down was enough for them to see the error of their ways.Posted some thoughts earlier in the thread, then after reading the rest of the messages on the thread it made me think.
Did anyone else take extra care like I did when messaging Eccles Blue. Overall my spelling and grammar is pretty good I think, but I always had to double check, or even look stuff up, just in case.
