Does anyone get the sense they are pulling out all the stops (additional contractors/shifts) to get it ready enough to open for the Villa game in 5 weeks time, with some sort of test event beforehand e.g. reduced opening for Palace?

I do. Think they’ve realised there’s a chance for a full new north stand to watch us lift the title

Difficult to tell. I don't think we have heard anything official yet about the H&S opening tests.

You can’t have two sponsors on the same stand. The top sponsor would overshadow Etihad.

The stadium is the Etihad stadium, not the Etihad stadium and another sponsor.

City would have added Etihad or the City crest as the seats were installed. City aren’t going to ripeout the seats and install new sponsor seats.

Just back from the Etihad, big shout out to Colin CC Overview for the heads up on the roof so the video looks different to colins from today. Also the other turnstiles are in. Have a good weekend cheers
