25 | Gianluigi Donnarumma - 2025/26

Not throwing Big Don under the bus , he has saved us plenty times this season , but why the f*ck do it today !! He isnt great with his feet but we have been spoiled with Ederson over the years , if he f*cks up regularly then it is an issue , but he doesnt. No doubt he will be working twice as hard in training to improve , he has a great attitude and a proven winner , so glad we won because he would have been pilloried on here.

Second half made up for his first. His kicking ability is a problem though and something he should be working on. I’m bemused that he can’t seem to hit it past the half way line.

He's made atleast 3 mistakes that I can recall without needing to check as they're still vivid in my mind.

1. Real Madrid away
2. West Ham away
3. Arsenal at home

I just don't feel like arguing anymore since everyone's mind is made up. I just hope the Club makes the right call going forward because I seriously rate Trafford higher, especially in our system!
Donna is better than trafford as pep also believes

Trafford class though but donna has the edge

Amazing Hart was fucked off because of his inability with feet and we got the duck egg Bravo in, spoiled by Eddie but his decision making with kicking is bad and he puts the team under pressure when we play along the back.

He might’ve made up for it today in the end but there are going to be games where he won’t make up for it and it will cost us.
I stand by my point he shouldn’t be our long term keeper.
He doesn’t add more with shot stopping than what he lacks with everything else.
Pep already said he doesn’t want Haaland trying to deal with long balls from goal kicks because it tires him out. If Donna doesn’t improve Haaland won’t last 40 games let alone 60.

We all rate Trafford but we also rate Gigi aswell . End of the day you’ve made your point and I also think you wanted us to draw tired you could then have really piled on .

I made this comments about a month after his debut, it's genuinely unfathomable that somebody who has played top level men's football for over a decade already has such a weak kick.

How has nobody had him work on it in training? It's a fairly simple thing to develop but takes time, it's just gym work and repetition, most keepers do it coming through the ranks, if he hadn't play academy football or was an outfield player until late on it would be understandable but he came through at AC Milan and as good enough to start for them at 16, so how has he escaped it? It's just confusing more than anything.

I take it you somehow missed our winning goal
No, I saw it, it wasn't anything worth acknowledgement, just a simple ball out, you can't seriously be suggesting one bog standard ball counters the rest of the games worth of evidence that he handicaps us substantially playing out from the back.

Ok that's really over the top.

Just go drink a milk shake and calm down.

I might have some contraversional opinions from time to time like us needing a Rodri replacement plan as he's almost 30, or a certain goalkeeper being better or Doku and Cherki being absolutely awesome, Marmoush being our best presser...

but I will NEVER want City to lose anything ever.

He just needs to stop being indecisive and cut out the dithering by reading the game better and much quicker.
I think the players need to realise they are no longer for playing with Ederson in goal.
There have been some dodgy moments with both keepers, Trafford being more adept with his feet.
Why throw a ball back to a keeper, just after scoring, when arsenal weren't even pressing us.
Up the line and settle the game down after scoring.
