I think the players need to realise they are no longer for playing with Ederson in goal.
There have been some dodgy moments with both keepers, Trafford being more adept with his feet.
Why throw a ball back to a keeper, just after scoring, when arsenal weren't even pressing us.
Up the line and settle the game down after scoring.

The throw for the 2nd shows he can do it but wasn’t being pressed then.

Gif be more disappointed if he hadn’t made the throw as Martinelli decided to go for a hotdog and left a gaping hole in their attacking press, which was fatal.

He still had to do it, but it was hardly KDB levels of vision.

For balance, fuck up aside, he did manage to beat the best attacking press for the remainder of the game, so he can do it, it’s just not smooth and Ederson-like.

His reflexes are insanely good, but it seems his depth/distance perception isn’t the best as he’s always undecided on rushing out and claiming crosses. There must be some form of training that can help with that though.

I might have some contraversional opinions from time to time like us needing a Rodri replacement plan as he's almost 30, or a certain goalkeeper being better or Doku and Cherki being absolutely awesome, Marmoush being our best presser...

Nunes must take some of the blame for their goal. Bernardo was screaming and pointing at him to not throw it back but to throw it down the line. He ignored that call.

He might’ve made up for it today in the end but there are going to be games where he won’t make up for it and it will cost us.
I stand by my point he shouldn’t be our long term keeper.
He doesn’t add more with shot stopping than what he lacks with everything else.
Pep already said he doesn’t want Haaland trying to deal with long balls from goal kicks because it tires him out. If Donna doesn’t improve Haaland won’t last 40 games let alone 60.

From Donna to Haaland they all fuck up. The also do a lot of good things to help the club win games.

Donnarumma has built up more than enough credit through the season to be forgiven for an isolated error.

Had he done this in the 3rd or 4th game of the season, it's a different story.

Staying on the line and will not use his height and frame in the box
So slow to react with his feet because of lack of confidence
As a result of the above he put's players under pressure
Despite the comradery, I feel the defenders are losing confidence in him as an option for a pass out of trouble
He has the edge on Trafford as a shot stopper both can fuck up as could Eddie

I thought he played really well over the 90, minus 5 seconds of brainfart. But those 5 seconds could have been instrumental. Goalies, fine lines etc. He does great stuff, he does not so great stuff. The club have a really tough set of decisions with regards goalkeepers this summer.

No one is asking for a perfect keeper but he’s only got one world class trait and it’s shot stopping. Ederson had command of his box and distribution and was never called a world class keeper.

Trafford is a good lad and a very good keeper, but he's not at the level of our number one.
