Referees' Performances | 2025/26

Tony Taylor is a serial offender against City and we know why, its time the club told PiGMOL that they want him excluded for selection for our games.
I know that Mourinho's behaviour was extreme after the European final but it was the behaviour of a man who knows the truth about Taylor

All week long we were told this is a title decider and whoever wins is in the driving seat, today multiple articles bout how arsenal can still win it and the deficiencies that city have, so it turns out it was only a title decider if arse won?

According to Mark Halsey in The Sun this morning Alty got every call spot on and had a great game.

Nothing to see here.

Typical Taylor performance. Whenever he referees our matches he always seems to allow a lot more physicality than you usually see in the PL these days. That will always generate some angst from both sides but generally more so from us because that level of physicality doesn’t particularly suit us. I thought he was as expected yesterday, probably should have sent Gabriel off but there was just enough leeway (largely due to Erlings honesty) for him to take the easy way out. Apart from that decision not really much to get too upset about imo.

We dont know what he saw, but as I said VAR is there to spot things and bring the ref's attention to it The protocol is for VAR to ask the ref what he saw if he dint include the head butt in his explanation then they would advise him to go to the monitor for a review
Yes it seems strange that 50000 fans and 22 players on the pitch saw it but VAR with its multiple cameras didn’t see it either.
I think we all know the answer why.
Would have been totally different if Haaland had done that to Gabriel .

Just a guess
Just how the fuck was there one minute injury time in a first half (that included a 90 second arsenal goal celebration) and 7 minutes second half?
Go back to the Forest game two seasons ago. Rodri on Morgan gibby shite. Same referee. Red card given! I rest my case!ATIAC.
Morgan Gobb Shite went down like a sack of spuds that's why

That's seems to be the 'protocol', but is that what we get from them? I think we get something that 'varies' around what they write and how they inform clubs.

We need a list of his offences v City all significant game changing decisions
Feel free to add in replies

  • No red for headbutt on Erling
  • No pen for handball v Arsenal
  • Pen against Eddy v Arsenal, offence never seen given before or since
  • Red card for Rodri
  • No red card for Dalot's foul on Docku
  • Disallowing goal v Liverpool for foul in build up, against the way he had handled the game
  • Chelsea game SO of Sergio (correctly) but letting off the Chelsea players
  • No DOGSO given against John Terry, chasing his mind as he reached for his card
  • He also gave a pen against City for handball, the player had turned his back on the edge of the area?
  • ?

You know what? Sod it!

Ignored the ripped shirt. Class a headbutt as just a yellow. Fall over yourselves making excuses for why a studs first knee high challenge on Doku isn't a red.

It's nothing new. It's just fuel for the fire. We will win it anyway. You cheating, unfit for purpose, highly manipulated, imbeciles. City till I die.

I thought he was alright, no big moments except the headbutt on Haaland which he got completely wrong.

I bet we won't see the refcam for that one!
