MOTD desperately trying to put a positive spin on things for Arsenal. According to the FGR, the Arse will be relieved that yesterday's game has been and gone. So they're happier now than before the game?! Talk about polishing a turd!
They will be creaming themselves at the thought of the end of the season if that’s the case.
Bridesmaids incoming.

Not a fan of abusing a bloke going about his business and especially with his mrs.

I’ve walked past Neville recently on Deansgate, he looked at me as we were passing and I just gave him a bit of a scowl. Wouldn’t ever give him abuse though, he’s got a right to walk down the street and not be shouted at.

Rooney of all people should know that at this stage of the season mentality & attitude matters more than your ability and the opposition. Rooney should recall his experience of the 11/12 season and should resist to make predictions like these. It's still very open and the team which can hold their nerve and not sh*t the pants in pressure situations will win the title!
Rooney still debating and bitter over Sergio’s winning goal. He seems to forget that they had umpteen dodgy as fook decisions go their way just to make the league more interesting. They were lucky to get within a dick hair of us. Cheating bastards.

Ashley Young seemingly dived every week to win penalties back then.

Carragher on MNF analysed the game. He claims that Rodri and Bernardo gave the best performance as a paid that he can recall in the Premier League. His stats showed that Rodri and Bernardo completely dominated Rice and Zubimendi in terms of tackles, possession and forward passes. He characterised Arsenal as adopting a very aggressive press but said that they were unadventurous with their passing.

After us not being tipped at any stage to be in the title race this season by anyone, we are about to hit top spot for the first time this season and the usual culprits - Ronay and Smith - are crying about wage bills now all of a sudden and that Arsenal can’t compete with us in that respect

He’s still a **** though.

I love podcasts and listen to almost all of football ones including atletic Guardian or totally football show. I have always loved the bias that comes into play whenever City name is occured where a red team win is celebrated with euphoria and city wins are often celebrated with the subtle "that why you pay big bucks to KDB or Haaland" .

Recently I started consuming the same podcasts in video format on youtube and started putting a face to those writers who write snide articles about city in telegraph or guardian or such. Almost all of them are above 50 and it shows in their faces that in all their life they only saw Liverpool Arsenal and United win and ofcourse almost all of them directly and indirectly have a soft spot for the red clubs. Some of them are self declared fans of these 3 clubs and the rest of them can be easily made out by the way theyspeak about the red cunts. Phrases like " Look at the size of the club"or "Look at their history and tradition" or even some straight forward nonsense like "Ofcourse all eyes are on United since it is the biggest club in the world! I mean hello Bayern Madrid and Barcelona.

So I made peace with the fact that until the new generation of fans/journalist take over the media in the next decade who have seen City' success or so we will be treated unfairly in the media.
In today's podcast with Guardian within 2 mins of podcast starting - Barney Ronay was asked how good was city. The answer was well one team has Haaland on 600k a week and one had Gykores so ofcourse city will win since it is a financial game.
I chuckled loudly ,closed youtube and moved over to netflix for some sanity.
Spot on Sir....where do you want your statue GK

Ex prem referee Keith Hackett weighing in with the typical Haaland goal should have been ruled out for pulling. The desperation from all media angles is hilarious. Even if they win it. Their trophy will be shit sprinkled with sugar.
Hacket is tedious in his distain for us. He fails to mention that Gabriel was all over Halland in the build up to that goal so it was 50/50 at best.

He also put out a video on social media saying Khusanov should have been sent off for outmuscling Havertz. Khus was just stronger, and Havertz exaggerated the contact with his theatrical flop.

Edit: I'll just add that this is an obvious attempt by the PL to steer the narrative away from the Gabrielle headbutt incident by using crusty old agenda fueled ex-whistling wankers who are probably being paid on the quiet to stir things up.

It used to be net spend now it’s wages. From what’s available on line City have a wage bill of £235m v Arsenal £185m per season. So in isolation ok we have a bigger wage bill, but, in the last five years City have a net spend of £300m compared with Arsenal £600m, hence, both clubs have roughly the same spend across transfers and wages. Of course that doesn’t suit the narrative of these shills.
